Fibrosis?
Hi there. Continuing my journey to recovery, I was today told by my doctor that I need to have a blood test to see if I have any scarring of the liver. My LFT’s are better than they were in June last year. An ultrasound in August 23 noticed a fatty liver. So, can you still get scarring of the liver

F3 Fibrosis Regression
How long does it realistically take ( with doing everything possible ) to regress from F3 severe
fibrosis
to F2? I am not a heavy drinker and was always very active but unfortunately took little responsibility for my diet and my love for sweets and sugar.

A lot of stuff going on. Qs.
The doctor said he can take antidepressants; has anyone else taken them with liver
fibrosis
? Lastly, to note the doctor has been lovely but first he said my partner had fatty liver and no
fibrosis
at all and then as things have gone on it's all progressed to
fibrosis
.

Fibrosis risk score
My GP ordered more bloods to be taken in order to do a
fibrosis
risk score test. I have been informed that my score has come back "quite high" so I am now being referred to the hospital.

What to do?
Originally I was diagnosed with lung
fibrosis
and earlier this year I received confirmation that I have CPFE combined pulmonary
fibrosis
and emphysema.I suffer from shortness of breath and some everyday tasks are becoming more difficult. Even putting my socks on can leave me short of breath.

AST to ALT ratio has become greater than 1 after decades of elevated levels
Is there a blood test that can help diagnose
fibrosis
? (I wont have the fibrosure scan) I recentky had a ct scan of abdomen for other reasons but without contrast. Can
fibrosis
or at least cirrhosis be seen on scan?

Fibroscan – is it too early to be jubilant?
I’m stunned to read the words stating no
fibrosis
because despite being in an “indeterminate” band I was expecting at least some
fibrosis
! Yet the wording above suggests F0 I think? The hospital letter contains no figures/scores/readings.
