Raised TSH and fertility
Hi Has anyone had treatment with Dr Gorgy. I've got high TSH levels. Blood test was done through GP. Was just wondering if he would prescribe levothroxine at the Skype consultation stage or would I need to have had all the immune and results back with him before he will do that. Any advice on next stages

How to get a fibroscan when Dr's won't authorize?
So far, two have said I do not need one however I just want to confirm my Liverfast results(which show only minimal fat and no
fibrosis
). I have had fatty liver for a few years but recently lost a bunch of weight and all my blood work looks good. Any tips or suggestions?

ALT and AST?
I am always severely fatigued and when diagnosed in January 2017, I was already in Stage 2-3
fibrosis
, shown on an MRE. My liver numbers were never particularly elevated, the worst my GGT was 550 and Alk Phos at 130. ALT and AST were doubled.

Is Fatty Liver considered as Liver Damage?
or is the advanced stages of
fibrosis
and cirrhosis considered as alcoholic liver damage. I'm trying to figure out what stage I'm at since I was diagnosed with Alcoholic Liver Damage and Anxiety in January. The GP did not tell anything else or did not refer me to a specialist.

Anyone else had FET today?
I’ve just came home from my FET and it went so smoothly - little embryo is safely in. Last time they were unable to do it, was very painful and had to have a hysteroscopy and mock embryo transfer at a later date. I was also allowed my partner there today so it was lovely for him to be involved and see

Blood work back to normal. NASH is gone?
So now i'm wondering if i managed to reverse my fatty liver(NASH) or it's just the inflammation which went away and the damage NASH did to my liver(i was told i have F2
fibrosis
last September based on biopsy) is going to stay forever and i should keep all the lifestyle/diet intervention for the rest

Zoladex and Tibolone
Hi everyone! I’ve (finally!) been offered a different treatment for my endometriosis! They won’t do another lap because I had one 4 years ago and they said there’s a risk of scarring and making it worse (please let me know if that’s true!). They have offered me Zoladex and tibolone and gave me a leaflet

Tracking my liver condition 6 month routine tests for liver health, using blood tests to monitor fat and fibrosis
I recently had my semiannual checkup and had a LIVERFASt blood test run. All stable which is good. I really like the ability to track my own progress. If anyone is interested we have a group where we share and discuss testing and monitoring https://www.facebook.com/groups/2782670918717439

Keeping Fingers crossed after Embryo transfer
Hi Lovely Mummies,,, I had my embryo transfer on 24th April, this is the 3rd day now and I've been having some cramps around my pelvic region. I'm having a mixed feeling about this whole stuff. This is my third IVF (1st and 2nd failed) and I'm really keeping my fingers crossed 🤞for this to turn out

Fresh Embryo Transfer - low quality Embryo
I’m on my first round of ICSI and I had my fresh transfer this morning, I had 9 eggs, 3 fertilised and 1 made it do day 5. The embryologist gave it a low grade but said that it was growing and had it been implanted later in the day she would have probably been able to give it a slightly higher grade.

Biopsy
It confirmed fibroscan reading there is a lot of scaring in the liver with dense bridging
fibrosis
and early nodularity. The fact that the pressure measurement across the liver was normal at 4mmHg doesn’t help calm me. I’m so worried asi don’t drink apparently it fatty liver disease.

3 embryos day 3, provisional embryo transfer Sunday
Just had the phone call from the clinic and all 3 fertilised eggs have made it to day 3. They’ve graded them at average. I’m nervous how many will make it to day 5. I know they say 50% might make it to day 5 but what is other people’s experiences?
