Fibroids and clothing post surgery
hi, I have just had a laparoscopic myomectomy. Would it be better to wear loose clothing to avoid pressure or leggings to avoid the bloods clots?

Update
I think it's probably a combination of Long Covid and liver
fibrosis
, but I still don't feel like I've got a clear answer on how much
fibrosis
I have. Thanks for reading x

Extreme liver enzyme elevation
I had a fibroscan scan during that time when my liver enzymes were elevated and it said mild to moderate
fibrosis
, but the recent mri did not show that. Is it possible to have auto immune hepatitis that doesn’t show in a blood test? Is it possible to have it and not have it show up?

Post Menopausal Fibroids
I am 62 and have been diagnosed with fibroids as a result of CT and US scans. Pelvic pain is constant, often severe. My HRT has been switched to Tibolone which I am told will not ‘feed’ the fibroids. I am waiting for an NHS gynae referral appointment which will not be anytime soon as there is a huge

2ww after loss feeling anxious
Hi everyone so after my last transfer just after Christmas 2022 we found out our one embryo had split and we had twin pregnancy. Both babies were doing well but at a routine scan at 9 weeks we found out both heartbeats had stopped. It’s been a really hard start to the year. But I have tried to keep going

Fibrosis and fatty liver
Hello, I was diagnosed with advanced
fibrosis
f3/4 and fatty liver. My fibroscan in 2022 was cap 297 kpa 11. Six months later it was cap 336 and kpa 12.2. I just had another fibroscan and the cap was 278 and kpa was 12.8. I am happy the fatty liver has improved, but the scarring is worse.

What to do
I have had my 6day embryo transfer 8 days ago and my clinic told me I could do the blood test tomorrow, but it would be better do to it on Monday the 19th. Today is my partners birthday, so I did a urine test and it came out negative… My question is, the result will most likely not change, so should

Ubiquinol
Hello ladies, so I should hopefully be starting my first round of IVF next week staring with a AFC scan as soon as AF arrives. Do you think it would be worth upping my dosage of ubiquinol CoQ10 between now and egg collection? Not sure if it might be too late. I’m currently taking 100mg a day. Thanks

AS the Journey continues
In the end, he agreed my Wife had NAFLD with iShack
Fibrosis
, which was F1/F2 . Further testing showed that it bordered on F0/F1, which was caused due to rapid weight loss associated with COVID. The main issue was using the most potent antibiotics without following proper guidelines.

Spider Nevis, does anyone else have these?
Short story, hospitalised over a year ago with jaundice and ascites due to alcoholism, considered de compensated cirrhosis, original fibro scan read 22.2kpa, now it’s 9 and I’m considered to have
fibrosis
and not cirrhosis although my liver is obviously scarred and my doctor is quite honest when he said

Any advice
Doctor actually said I had a scan 2 years ago and it was clear and they're not that great at showing
fibrosis
so not sure why I'm being given this? Im obviously worried but now more so that the methods of intervention might not actually help me.

Worry about ASXL1 MUTATION
Bone marrow biopsy has shown that there are sick megakaryocyte, although my
fibrosis
has been reversed. Do you have any strategies for this? I am afraid of transplantation because there is no donor in my family and I still need to support my parents. 🙏Thanks!
