Should I worry because I had no spotting after FET?
Hello ladies, I’m on 2 week wait after embryo transfer and I am wondering about implantation bleeding… is that really a thing? It’s been a week since my FET and absolutely no spotting so I am wondering… does that mean anything? That I did not have the implantation bleeding? It’s my first IVF so please

Decapeptyl for fibroids
Hi, I am six weeks into having the decapeptyl injections to shrink a 7 cm fibroid prior to surgery - myomectomy or hysterectomy. I haven’t had any menopausal symptoms and my bleeding has fluctuated the full time either light or the big gushes. I freak out as I was admitted in October needing blood transfusions

Embryo Transfer under Sedation
Hi beauts, So I just found out today that my clinic want to do a Day 3 embryo transfer under sedation. This is due to every time I have had a transfer, it’s gotten longer to do and more painful with each one. Iv asked for different consultants but the one that wasn’t able to do the transfer last time

Prostap and bleeding
Hi everyone. I’m on prostap 3monthly and add back tibolone for a max of 2years then a hysterectomy. I’m on my second injection and so far everything has been great, minimal pain and side effects seemed to have calmed down with HRT. However tonight I felt the dreaded feeling, I have started to bleed!

Day 3 quality and where to go from here...
Hi ladies. Hope you're all ok 😊 I'm 40, and on my 3rd fresh round of ICSI, due to male factor and my low AMH. First round got 3 eggs, none made it to day 5, round 2 I had 1 egg and cancelled the cycle, which strangely resulted in pregnancy but then a MMC. This round I've got 3 embies but today been

Painless Fibroids
Hi All, Just curious to know if anyone has large non uterine fibroids (muscular) and still managed to conceive. I’m 39, nearly 40 and no kids but would like to have children. How difficult is it to get pregnant with large fibroids? Mine is 10cm and feels very thick. I have a mirena to slow the growth

PRP - Thin Endometrium - feedback anyone ?
Hi All, I have been struggling with thin endometrium for almost 2 years now ( i have 6 excellent quality embryos from the first IVF cycle) , tried all the conventional methods of hormonal therapies - i have taken boxes of progynova but it doesnt seem to help. My doc has not suggested to try PRP therapy

Second round, no embryos to transfer
Our embryo transfer was booked for yesterday (Wednesday). We had the call in the morning (8am) from the clinic to update us on the status of our embyros at day 5 (we already had our day 3 call). They confirmed that there was one slow one and one which could be ready but doesn't look to be doing anything

Transfer day & 2WW idea
Hey all I hope you're well! We are going through reciprocol IVF with my eggs being used in my partner. Today is the day of our frozen embryo transfer as our fresh didnt work. I came up with an idea to help the 2ww. I created a sort of advent calender! I thought it might be useful for others too 😊

Hepatic Encephalopathy with F1 Fibrosis?
Hi, is it possible to experience Hepatic Encephalopathy with F1
Fibrosis
? Here's my backstory.. I'm ashamed to admit I was a daily drinker for approx 20 years (I'm now in my mid forties) as I used it to self-medicate to help with anxiety (terrible idea I know).

INF vs HU, histological response (fibrosis, celluarity, etc) Surprise Result, and Possible Reasons
"Phase 3" measured a broad category of marrow results, (histopathological) while "Long Term" measured only
fibrosis
. My recent searching indicates that INF has less effect on cellularity than
fibrosis

Spleen Stiffness correlates to fibrosis in MF
(
fibrosis
) Therefore, we confirmed that SS, evaluated by pSWE, may serve as a surrogate marker of BMF. We can also speculate that the assessment of SS may drastically reduce the need for multiple invasive bone marrow biopsies>> Note the word "speculate".

A Good Day
They are going to do regular fibroscans to keep an eye on any
fibrosis
& keep me closely monitered. They were both very knowledgable & reassuring. I felt I could TRUST them which is so important. I feel more confident going forward now.
