6-yrs post MI and stents at the age of 43, I’m doing well on the usual meds. of Bisoprolol, Aspirin, Atorvastatin and Ramipril. Should I take an Omega 3 fish oil supplement, though, as I hate fish and can’t entertain eating it twice a week as recommended? I’d really welcome your advice, please as I’

Change of drug to Amlodipine
I fell and broke 3 ribs last week, was taken to hospital. I have AF and take Nebivolol and Losartan, while in hospital they changed Losartan to Amlodipine. Came home 2 days ago and feel horrible on the Amlodipine, is it okay to go back to Losartan, have only been taking the Amlodipine for 3 days. Nebivolol

Blood Pressure and Heat, SLE and more.😕
Hi everyone, As we take on another season of heat everywhere, I complain about the heat each year, and I am sorry. I hope you all are doing the best you can with this wave.. My question is, does anyone out there have Hypertension with SLE? Many more symptoms seem to be aggravated by the changing weather

Amlodipine 5mg splittable to 2.5mg IS AVAILABLE
New to this community. Hello to All. I have recently had my prescribed amlodipine 5mg prescription reduced to 2,5mg in consequence of much reduced blood pressure and asymptomatic sinus bradycardia. Total withdrawal had earlier led to rebound hypertension; from 110/65 to 160/90 Unfortunately the tablets

AMLODIPINE
After I had a stroke I was diagnosed with AF. I was put on a number of tablets including Ramipril and Amlodipine for high blood pressure. My ankles and feet are regularly very swollen, and I have read that Amlodipine often causes this. Does anyone know of a tablet that performs in the same way to lower

Antacids not working
Been on heart tablets for 9 years after having 2 stents fitted - and on Ramipril, Bisoprolol, Atorvastatin, gastric coated Aspirin and Ranitidine, which after a few weeks in the drugs, have been absolutely fine. However Ranitidine was withdrawn in December, and put on Omeprazole. Got a lot of indigestion

High blood pressure
Hi I've had a pacemaker for 2 years but have recently been started on amlodipine for high blood pressure by my gp. A few days in and I'm feeling nauseous and have muscle aches. Just wondering if anyone else takes this and if they've had these symptoms. Thanks.

Failing Heart/Overactive Thyroid
Feeling very alone with all this, especially at his time. Has anyone else had similar symptoms to me? I started with AF about 7 years ago. It was treated with (the dreaded) Amiodarone for 2 years, (worked well) but I had to stop taking it when I developed overactive thyroid. From February 2019 I have

Got appointment with GP
I’ve taken all of your advice about swollen legs and amlodipine, spoke to my Dr’s surgery and my Gp wants to see me face to face. I hope he can change my meds or water meds, then I won’t have to cut my jeans at the bottom as they’ve become to tight !!!! Not sure the world is ready for me in my shorts

Hi My husband recently changed from Ramipril to losartan and now after 2 glasses of white wine is absolutely paralytic. I've had to help him to bed etc on the last 2 occasion when we've had a drink. He is not a big drinker so this is a first for me. In truth it's usually the other way around. Is

Amlodipine puffy legs
I’ve put a message on here before at some point but not sure I asked the right question. I’ve had my amlodipine increased, my lower legs felt tight, now I’ve increased surprise!!!! It feels a bit worse. Is this something that goes away after time once your body gets used to it or do I need to speak
