My Gp decided to do an ECG on me today to compare to my last one, there were some subtle changes, don’t ask me what they are, it went straight over my head!! Cannot be to bad I’m at home not A&E!!
He’s ringing the cardiologist to see if I can be seen sooner than August/September, and a blood test Monday to check, I think heart function or any damage.
Anyway, he’s keeping me on amlodipine despite my puffy ankles and calves he didn’t want to change anything until he speaks to cardiology, he was going to try today, but anyway it shouldn’t be too long to get sorted.
Thank goodness it’s Friday 😊

Snap. I had a call this morning from the practice nurse to go in for blood tests and an ECG. She said it looked ok but doctor would ring me Tuesday to discuss results. Nice to know I’m being looked after. Hope your results are good.
Thank-you for the update. It sounds as though you have a wise GP not wanting to change your medication without speaking with the cardiologist, that bodes well for your treatment.
And I keep saying this but it's worth repeating - you have such a great sense of humour about all this, well done you!
i have have T-wave inversion in four and sometime ecg come with five.
The consultant cardiologist advised me that some people have this and they don't even know about it. one can live with this and its fine. Thanks G-D, its fine.
I'm glad your GP is looking after you well. It's reassuring when you have a cardiologist and GP who recognise microvascular angina. From my own experience I know It's a difficult condition to manage and diagnose, but once you get the right medication for you it will be much easier to manage, and with a supportive GP you'll get there.
We're not too bad thanks Fluffybee. Muddling along with quad bypass (hubby) and me with Type 1 diabetes and cancer! Plenty worse off as my lovely mother used to say!
Thanks for your reply Fluffybee. It means such a lot to know you're thinking of us. We're OK honestly. We do talk a lot and have great kids and grandkids that are a real help and support.
I've been in remission for 12 years so like to think the big C has given up and gone home!!
We're enjoying your virtual hug together. Thank you, that's the best thing we've had all day xxxx
Hi Fluffybee. He's quite depressed being stuck in but at least the football is back on TV!! His heart problems (severe angina which he wouldn't see our GP about) finally caught up with him a couple of years ago. He had an angiogram and that showed loads of blockages that couldn't be stented so he ended up having a quadruple bypass in November 2018.
He was due to have a double hernia operation but this flipping virus got in the way!!!!
Thanks for your kind thoughts Fluffybee. He's fine really - just has trouble bending because of his double hernia. He's not in any pain and will get sorted out as soon as this horrible virus starts to disappear.
Hope you’re both feeling ok in this hot weather, I know it can make you feel worse when you’re not 100% we’re supposed to get thunderstorms later in the week, just when we’ve been invited to go on the river !!!!!!
Still haven’t heard about my blood test results do think that’s good news 😃
Hi Fluffybee. We're OK and hope you are too. We were supposed to get thunderstorms later today but the MET office removed the warning! Thunderstorms predicted Friday now (I hope they arrive). Just trying to keep cool and hydrated!!
Well you know what they say - no news is good news!! 😃
