Thank you yes we always seem to need to be "on it" dont we as patients ! Im lucky with my GP surgery tho as Ive been with them 40 plus yrs and Ive learnt to navigate their systems, now Ive developed all these latest sagas the receptionists feel a bit sympathetic at least,
Hoping the dermatology will be efficient too, Ivr got my best friends big secret party to attend on Sat lol
Hi, no pain during procedure but a fair bit since, 2 + hrs sleep, paracetamol one at a time every 2 hrs, today chin is swollen like a boxer lol, looks like Tyson Fury been at me ha ha but all these things are normal aft this level of procedure, got quite a few stitches in gum due to being on clopidogrel and a facial cyst biopsy tmrw am so I will not be looking my best for my friends secret party on Sat night ! BUT theres bigger things to come soon so better "man up" get on with it, perhaps that shld read "woman up " 😅
glad to hear you got through it despite the scary bit
are you aware that local anaesthetic can include epinephrine which can trigger the symptoms you described - i don't know if you have discussed this with your cardiologist and/or dentist, but you may want to request and epinephrine-free local anaesthetic - this can take longer to act and need topping up for long procedures, but it is just as effective at preventing pain
i have and many others with heart conditions request this as standard from our dentists
Thanks so much I made him fully aware of my valve issue bf we began and I didnt know it had those effects but once the teeth were out I felt much calmerDont know why I get in such a state Ive spent many yrs in the dentist chair in my 67 yrs lol
Todays cheek cyst biopsy went very well but 8 weeks for a result now
i had ymptoms like that too once, when i sill accepted anaesthetc with epinephrine, but as an ex-nurse i guessed why it was happening - knowledge can help prepare you for surprises🙂
