Cholesterol Slightly Raised
Surprisingly it has risen slightly, bit concerned as my diet has not changed (I am really careful in what I eat, rarely drink more 4/5 units a week) and nor has my
exercise
routines in fact if anything I work out harder now.

I hate taking meds and do all I can to eat the right diet, gentle
exercise
etc etc. Any thoughts, advice or similar experiences wise people? I have found this forum so informative and helpful and really thought I was controlling the disease.

Using B1 therapy
He has enrolled in Rock Steady Boxing, the
exercise
program for PD, and he has gone three times a week for over two months. It’s rigorous, and we’re both glad he’s doing it, but we haven’t seen any specific changes because of it.

To say my own
exercise
routine has been upended is an under statement! I have not run for over ten days! My
exercise
is supported each day with some of my own routines and using also, some of the fabulous stuff available right here... but I really am, hoping to get my re-Graduation run in soon!

Evaluating
It is all trial and error to try and figure out how robustly to
exercise
my neurological system. The amount I can
exercise
my neurological system is changing/improving so it is a moving target. I use hunger as an evaluation to stay away from "healthy eating" as a solution.

Bridgefeast--nice post! More on exercise
I highly recommend a chest expander as a way to provide upper body resistance
exercise
. Not only does exercising with a chest expander increase strength but the
exercise
can be therapeutic for damaged shoulders.

Exercise helps, but how?
Unfortunately, this does not provide convincing evidence that
exercise
prevents or slows Parkinson's disease. There is only limited evidence that
exercise
has a weakening effect on possible markers of disease progress.” Sources: Ernst e.a.

Systemic Sclerosis symptoms during pregnancy
I barely do any
exercise
anymore because it makes me feel even hotter and breathless. Has anyone else experienced symptoms changes during their pregnancy?

learning to live with GCA/PMR
I am still housebound and the GCAand PMR diagnosis has made it difficult for me to progress the walking and
exercise
I need to make any kind of decent recovery from my hip fracture. I also have serious osteoporosis. So a pretty shit 15 months but I am determined not to give up.

Management of Carbimazole/hyperthyroidism and other symptoms
I’ve also had really painful and stiff legs on occasion that is worse than any
exercise
related soreness. 4. Is acid reflux a common symptom of Carbimazole? I’ve been struggling with this in the last couple of weeks.

A timely reminder
If the worst happens, the dog would have to be on a drip to flush the kidneys though for up to several days-a VERY costly
exercise
, apart from the anxiety aspect!! And the vet would rather not be called out to an incident like that! PLEASE TAKE NOTE!

SURPRISE SURPRISE GENTLEMEN
Apart from abject embarrassment, I was actually relieved to hear this news for not only was it nothing sinister - yes 1% of men are diagnosed with breast cancer each year, when I next go swimming, one
exercise
I love, and get the curious stares I will have the knowledge it is nothing I can help!

AFib and Cardioversion
My thought is if Afib does return whilst this will be disappointing would I just revert to current meds ie Bisoprolol which have enabled me to maintain a decent level of
exercise
and fitness. My worst state was being in extended Afib episode and trying to get an appointment to get meds.
