Little bit of background multiple stents last Sept 2022..EF 40% asymptomatic and doing HIIT and running etc ..quite active . On bisoprol, perindropil, rosuvastatin and ticagrelor. Quite fit and healthy eating. With BP usually 105/60 and RHR 53.Saw my exercises physiologist, before start I had 120/62 BP and 53 HR put me into hard pace 1 min full squat manage to do 40 reps felt normal. Took BP straight away BP dropped to 111/62 specially systolic (exercise-induced hypotension).after 1 min recovered well and back to 120/62 . Hr on 60s. My physiologist think sec after squat expected BP to raise and normalise in minute or two however my systolic pressure dropped by 9 but diastolic was normal. Recovery was really good no concern about that.
Wondering if anyone have similar issues? Wondering if this is caused by a medicine I am in. I don't have my appointment with cardiologist until Sept if anyone had gone through similar situation please 🙏 let me know. Little bit concerned after hearing this.
Thanks 🙏 all in advance

Thanks Hidden , in my case immediately after intense one minute squat (40 reps) my systolic pressure dropped by 9 to 111. Within min I am back to normal 120. Based on my exercise physiologist BP should increase slightly not decrease when done straight away
Yes I agree with what Janner69 and Heartifact have said. After running 5k my BP drops 10-20 points. I haven’t measured it immediately post run because I try to have a long slow down with 2k walk being typical. If I stop suddenly I can feel light headed. Similar background to you, stent to LAD, bisoprolol, perindopril, rosuvastatin and aspirin.
Thanks Lonmayloon I have noticed that eventually after 15-20 mins my BP drops as well..but this was one immediately after exercise.I had multiple stent in LAD , PDL ..we seems to be in a similar medicine, any side effects from any of those medicine.
Hi Sodp, No side effects from aspirin or rosuvastatin. Previously on high dose of atorvastatin which I couldn’t tolerate so changed back to rosuvastatin. I think perindopril gives me a slight cough but I don’t find it troublesome. Weirdly it seems to occur when I change posture so I can almost anticipate when the cough reflex is going to hit me.
Bisoprolol has a few side effects. Resting heart rate can go down to low forties, sometimes lower. I therefore have cold hands and feet for much of the time if I’m not moving about. Exercise in cooler climate takes a little bit of time to get warmed up and blood pumping efficiently. I can also suffer an almost constant runny nose when my body temperature is low and this can be brought on by eating food. (Similar to the effects of eating a very hot curry but can occur with mild foods). I’ve heard of many others experiencing similar symptoms. I’m happy to put up with these for the heart protection provide by bisoprolol.
Thanks Hidden so is squat with no weights is considered cardio. She put me in 1 min full squat as much rep I could do , I managed to do 40 and she took my BP as I am done.
Thanks Janner69 , mine did drop after quick 1 min squat, but after 1 min it came back to recovery level..yes she did mention if it' spike high that be more worst but drop can be a case for people with heart condition. Hopefully I will get an answer from cardiologist in 3 months from now.Thank you again for your response
