Exercise & AFib
Many questions, but one at the moment - we’re all advised that
exercise
generally is good for us, and that it’s important to continue exercising after discovering that one has AFib, but I’ve found that exercising can actually trigger an unpleasant episode.

logging exercise
I’ve just come in from 90 minutes gardening. Bits of digging, lawn mowing, planting, weeding. I thought I could log it as ‘other activities’. I’ve done that before but it doesn’t seem to be an option any more. Am I missing something or do I really need to press start beforehand. It’s the same with retrospectively

Exercise Motivation
Hi, I have been free of AF for the last 3 years after my second ablation and during that time I was able to
exercise
and felt energised and motivated. I lost weight, was going to the gym 3-4 times per week score and felt well. I still took Apixaban during this time.

Some take less medication due to
exercise
- so dopamine must increase naturally to enable function? I shall keep on walking but still pondering what happens! Any thoughts?

exercise tips
Normally would ignore this and think been doing more then normal
exercise
so expect to feel like this . My question , is this bad for nursing an inflamed body , if that makes sense ? Obviously we all have to keep moving and get the ticker going !

Exercise intolerant
I had to stop any form of
exercise
. I am on HRT too and last year had the same symptoms. My HRT gel was increased and this sorted out the problem I could
exercise
and no problems after .

Over Exercise?!!!
My question is regarding
exercise
. I forgot to ask the consultant when she showed me the results of PET Scan ( Dec.) with evident inflammation of the aorta. Inflammation down now CRP 10 and ESR 27!

The Plans may Change...
I am still doing a fair amount of breathing
exercise
for my anxiety and that is ongoing and used as and when needed.. ( less often now for those pesky panic episodes... ). The YWA Ten minute Balance breathing is splendid and can be done any time.

Time to get moving...gently does it...

that will keep us moving. Whatever your favourite

is , it is sometimes just not feasible to do it!

Just stepping out of your door is an adventure... Walking, the Best Exercise...Part Two.
Okay forum friends here I am... Another day, another post and than you all for the many replies and photographs too. Another good night's sleep followed the relaxing breathing exercises and a few gentle stretches too, last night. Box breathing, done, in the shadowy cool of the evening, before settling

Pain After Exercise
This is my first time posting and I’m new to all this so apologies if I’ve done something wrong! I’ve recently had a diagnosis of endometriosis after years of bad periods. The specialist during my laparoscopy burnt away the endometriosis patches (I now know this is not the most ideal way of treating

Mirena and Exercise
Hi all - has anyone experienced bleeding after
exercise
with the Mirena? I had mines fitted in November after surgery so it might still be settling but I have noticed a pattern that I bleed after I’ve been horse riding - every time now (I have lessons once a week).

RHR after exercise
I'm hoping people can help me with something that has me a little concerned. To give a quick back story, I lost 3 stone in 2022 and in early 2023 I started going to the gym. I attended regular spin classes, core sessions, HIIT classes and also ran and would have a gentle swim a few times a week. I really

PGAD relief tips
Hi all, I am reaching out to see amy tips you may have for relief? Currently lasts 24 hours a day, worst is at night but never goes away. Its very distressing and I cried again today as am just so exhausted. Have seen a urogynacologist and am now trialling HRT patches (hysterectomy in 2018) plus estrogen

Exercise post surgery
Hi, I appreciate there are other more serious matters of concern but I would just like to know what types of
exercise
and when you started after lung surgery. I am bored with physio and less motivated to walk everyday!
