If you’re in a gym 5 mins the rowing machine on low resistance is a pretty good warm up, but also ask the trainers there, they’re usually pretty helpful.
I tend to do 5-10 mins of dynamic stretches ( inchworms, squats with knee ups, shoulder rolls that sort of things) I keep it low energy and step it up gradually.
If that is not your thing then a brisk walk is great. Or as Frenchfields says 5 mins on a rower.
That should work as a warm up. I keep it lowish impact as it is only a warm up.
