Updates and futuristic questions
Hi everyone, hope you're all enjoying summer :) First, I decided to get some licorice extract and some hydrocortisone tablets to give them a go. I found a great article about healing adrenal fatigue by using tiny doses of HC, having been assured I would avoid nasty side effects this way. I took 2.5mg

hi, all. i had a full blown adrenal crash (not addison's--just very low cortisol) a few years ago and haven't been the same since. i've had major difficulties with various thyroid meds--am finally now on something that works (NDT alone, without any synthetic t3 or t4). i sense that my adrenals are

Plant extracts for PD
I've ordered the following extracts from China, generally $100 to $200 per kg. The doses I want to simulate from the research in mice and rats pretty much requires extracts instead of whole foods. 20 tangerines and 5 apples a day is not reasonable. The epidemiological evidence is strongest for >1

Converting animal data to human doses. Plant extract dosing for PD.
The way to convert doses from animal studies to humans is to do it based on relative caloric or water intake. Water consumption is based on calorie consumption due to respiration, except humans that work enough to sweat can throw the water conversion off. Most nutrients are studied at a level of 0.2%

Ghrelin for treating PD
I do not know how one would obtain it, but Ghrelin seems to be pretty powerful in treating PD. Here's an article: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2845822/ Prolonged fasting, lighter meals, green tea extract, marijuana, and coconut oil all increase it. It works when taken orally. Do you have stomach tingling? Comments on ghrelin.
I remember as a child getting a strange feeling in my stomach after running long and hard, sort of like hunger pangs, but apparently something having to do with lack of oxygen. Now I have that feeling to a small extent most of the day. It feels almost like there is an acid build up. It seems many if

Tumeric
Hello. I was wondering how many people have had a reduction in their symptoms after using turmeric? I've tried to put it in food for my daughter, but she doesn't like the taste. However I'm keen to find a way to use it more, as she doesn't seem to need her pain killers so much, on the days after she's

Any harm in taking vitamin supplements?
Hi everyone. Just wondering whether anyone has any advice/comments on whether I'm helping or hindering my health (since my diagnosis with CLL) by taking a couple of vitamin supplements? I take a green tea extract and a vitamin D3 supplement daily. I am currently on stage A "watch and wait" with no

Which B12 spray?
I've been using the "Better You" B12 oral spray, as this was the only one available locally when I looked, but I'm wondering what other people use and whether there are better ones out there. Mine comes in a 25ml container for £11.99 and 4 sprays gives you 1200ug B12, 40ug Chromium and 0.5mg green tea

Womb lining - how do I get it nice and thick?
When I had my day 9 scan they measured my womb lining as 7.4 but I have read that it has to be above 9mm to give the best chance - does anyone have any tips that I should be doing to help thicken? I thought the doctor would have flagged this up unless the lining thickens each day and she thinks it will

Severe headache
Despite me being low in B12 (165 at last test) and having most of the classic B12 deficiency symptoms, my GP says I don't need treatment and my endocrinologist (who I was referred to for possible thyroid and/or adrenal disfunction) is inexplicably making me wait another 2 months until my next appointment
