FIBRO FOG - CAN YOU SEE THE FUNNY SIDE?????
This guy doesn't have Fobro Fog but I sure know how he feels... "$5.37!" That's what the kid behind the counter at Taco Bell said to me. I dug into my pocket and pulled out some lint and two dimes and something that used to be a Jolly Rancher. Having already handed the kid a five-spot, I started

GREAT RESULT FROM LETROZOLE
Hi! ladies, I haven't blogged for a while but still read all yours. I'm on 3rd time around since March this year with no treatment only on Letrozole. Had a scan on 29th June & it showed a very minimal decrease but it also showed it had moved into lymph gland in abdomen. I read in one of the blogs

Grapefruit medication interactions increasing
Ayla has come across this article, but for some reason couldn't get it to post, so I'm doing the honours on her behalf. I was informed a long time ago that grapefruit and tumeric do not mix with cyclophosphamide but I never knew why - I just wasn't going to give them chance. http://esciencenews.com

Memory Loss
Hello everyone. I wonder how you all are with memory as part of the Fibromyalgia picture? Mine is just terrible and rapidly getting worse. I'm getting quite worried about it. I write things down and forget I've written them, I forget appointments, I can't think of words so am beginning to struggle

foggy brain ???
Ginkgo supplements are usually taken in the range of 40–200 mg per day. Recently, a meta-analysis of clinical trials have shown Ginkgo to be moderately effective in improving cognition in dementia patients[34] but not preventing the onset of Alzheimer's Disease in normal people. I have been taking

Has anyone been taking a Tumeric (Curcumin) supplement?
If so, have you received any favorable test results that would indicate it is helping your condition?

Using Supplements
As a lupus survivor, I have all the common daily ailments, such as pain and fatigue. However, recently I have found that certain supplements which I have been taking for about 2 months, have helped eliminate the pain and I am not as tired as I was before. I would not recommend that anyone take anything

Week 3 of 'Lupus recovery diet'
Actually it's really challenging. Although I've been enjoying the creativity of making new interesting healthy vegan meals, juices and smoothies, IT'S ALL I'M DOING!! I don't have any time or energy left over to do anything else, and I'm not able to work (but that was very limited before anyhow).

My lupus journey
Hi All This is my first blog post. I'm so happy that I found this site!! At last I don't feel alone with all my worries and aches and pains! My journey started way before I was diagnosed 2 years ago. 8 years ago my twin boys started school and I felt a sigh of relief that I would at last have some

Muscle cramps/pain
I can't remember who posted the information below, however, I was telling my sister about it. She said she had read that when you have cramping, Charlie Horses, muscle tightness, etc. to eat a teaspoon of mustard. Mustard has Tumeric as an ingredient. I have tried it and it has helped my toe cramps.

Have seen articles in newsapapers about Pycnogenol. It is also referred to on this asthma site news as ""'An add-on treatment made from pine bark extract may help to improve the symptoms of children with mild to moderate asthma, suggests a new study."" This was in 2005. Would appreciate your comments

Goldie Locks and the Three Bears
Goldie Locks, greedy little thing, gets to try three of bowls of porridge, three chairs and three beds. In trying each of these things, GL finds that which is “just right” for her. What about us thyroid people though? Some in the medical profession would have us believe that levothyroxine (T4

Medication
Just wanted people's advice on what else to try. I am currently on tramadol and paracetamol - Find it just takes the edge off the pain. Just started duloxetine, just feeling sick with it atm. Tried amitriptiline and nortriptiline in the past, neither worked. Also on lopermide and meberviline for IBS
