How to increase BP and circulation
Hey everyone! 👋🏼 I was wondering if anyone know of any tips or been successful in raising their BP and improving circulation? The poor blood flow causes pooling of blood in my calves and consequently swelling with putting as well as discoloured skin on my legs with purple-ish undertones and sort

Your Medication And Supplements
Earlier this week there was a post where the issue related to the addition of turmeric as a supplement when taking anticoagulants. Interestingly around the weekend I got send a link from my old university (was one of the top polytechnics at the time) about a recent piece of research about taking supplements

What affects blood test results?
I remember reading on here that certain supplements affect thyroid blood test results but I can't seem to find that information anymore. I currently take tumeric, fish oil, vit D, vit C, CBD oil and iron. Do any of these affect blood test results if taken a day before the test? I know it's important

Does anyone has inconsistent platelet count ?
Since I got a bad cold with fever in March , my count has been the lowest. Last year the lowest I had was around 70. This year in March in went down up 43, since then my count is like a yo-yo. July I had the highest at 130, then it dropped to 64 in Aug and now in Sep to 43. I don’t have any bruising

Preparation for Axumin Scan -- exercise/diet/supplements?
I'm scheduled for an Axumin scan on Friday afternoon but was given no prep instructions, so I've been checking online. I'm not a fan of radiation because of the potential damage and would like to do all I can to moderate the effects. So far, here's what I've found: 1. Limit physical "activity prior

I Would Appreciate Some Advice Please?
I already use Foligain shampoo/conditioner and am finding new little hairs growing back, only fine ones but they are there. Today I was reading the reviews for these supplements and they were all practically 5*. Looking at the ingredients they do contain iodine which I know we hypo’s aren’t supposed

Last nite i hard bumped my left arm on the door jam over a 1" purple bruised spot and it tore the skin and started oozing bleeding continuing the next day. I'm on 10mg prednisone and 81mg aspirin. AKM Shamsuddin, MD, Ph.D. (Univ. of MD Medical School) invests decades in cancer research and gets results
In 2015, three years after I was dx with stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer (two pelvic bone mets, PSA 19, G8), I discovered Dr. Shamsuddin's book "IP6 and Inositol" in my search for anticancer natural supplements. IP6 is a molecule found in every cell of our body. It occurs naturally in many sources

Beneficial supplements?
I was diagnosed with advanced PC with several mets to the pelvic bone, in June 2018. So far, in my short experiences with doctors, they are concerned generally about supplements that may negatively interact with my new hormone therapy (Elligard with Zytiga+prednisone). I have been on this therapy for

I've been reading posts related to an enlarged spleen. I was diagnosed about 2 years ago and I have been told all is fine "wait and watch". When I first went to my doc it was with a complaint of fatigue and other minor but unusual (to me) symptoms. I had had an appendectomy in August, by October I was

First posting.
I'm 74. Have cll for 4 years, just had tests yesterday and in last 3 months my wbc went from 80,000 to 120,000. Doc at stanford has been waiting watching. I hear about a pill that costs about 400 a day that buys a little time but I have no insurance. Meanwhile I'll try mayo clinic stuff where they used

Ginger capsules, ginkgo tablets and l- Theanine tablets .
Can anyone tell me if there is a problem in taking any of the above supplements at the start of the day with vitamin supplements. As I'm thinking of adding the above, (over a period of time), to my regime, as an aid to helping my adrenals. Thank you
