Hey friends! I recently caved and went to go see a therapist for my anxiety. I am so glad I did that other than she is quite expensive. She told me that she thinks i'm having gastro issues as well and it's not just the anxiety. Doctors and doctors later, I am scheduled for an endoscopy for Friday to

TOE Waiting times
I have had an MRI and also expect to be referred for a TOE endoscopy. Anyone have any ideas of how long this appointment takes to come through?

Sensitive to mould and damp
Since the past few months I have been severely unwell. It started bystaying at my parents house, where the ceiling had collapsed due to water damage from rain and ongoing work. One day I woke up with gasping for air, allergy symptoms, nausea, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, brain fog and sensitivity to light

Any medication for sore stomach after passing stools
Hello out there, has anyone suffered from stomach pain after passing stools? Not stomach cramps, just the uneasiness and sore stomach. Is there anything on the market that I can take to soothe the stomach. I've tried Colpermin but that does not always work. Any suggestions, greatly appreciated.

Has anyone been diagnosed with H. Pylori?
I just recieved a call from my G.I office, although they weren't able to complete my endoscopy, they were able to take a biopsy of my stomach. I was diagnosed with H. Pylori.. What is H. Pylori? Has anyone ever heard of it? Or is it one of those infections that no one ever hears about that just shows

My partner's story
Hello to everyone, I've been a silent member of this group for a few weeks and I have found your posts really helpful. I have decided that now is the time to share with you the story so far with my partner and his diagnosis of alcohol related liver disease. He's 43 years old and he's been a daily drinker

If the dr doesn’t see fatty liver on scan then is it still fatty liver?
I’ve been through a decent amount of tests endoscopy ct scan and many ultrasound scans and a hida scan nothing has shown anything abnormal with my liver. But when I take any type of meds which I’m on Prozac it goes up. When off meds my enzymes are ok. They stay in the mild elevated range. Cholesterol

IBS-D & yeast/candida connection?
37 M here. I've always been prone to toenail fungus and jock itch. In 2008 I was finally put on a long course (6 months) of antibiotics to treat the toenails. Shortly afterwards in 2009 I wen through a very stressful legal battle and began to have digestion issues -loose bowels, having to run to bathroom

Update on palpitations
I thought you’d be keen to hear an update. I had an endoscopy on Thursday morning, it turns out I’ve got an hiatal hernia! I’ve got a follow up appointment with cardiology on Wednesday next week to discuss how we proceed. Due to my symptoms, palpitations and irregular heart rate the gastroenterologist

Last update on 5th valve replacement surgery
Hi all. Well, it’s now been 2 months since my surgery so thought I’d give a final update. A few little issues with fluid in the chest which has now gone. My medication has reduced significantly and I am ready to go back to work. Am driving with no issues and I’ve even been swimming a couple of times

Oh Yay! Nothing found! So Cancer has now been "not seen" anywhere else but in the Liver. Next comes the mapping then the Micro Ball Radiation procedure. I have Tumors in both lobes, 3 left and one right. The ones in the left are to be treated first. Then when all settles down, the right. It is very small
