Both eyes together!
Does anyone have experience of having surgery on both eyes at the same session? If so I would love to hear from you. My consultant is doing cataract and drainage improvement surgery at the same time for both eyes in the same session under general anaesthetic. I know this is a fairly uncommon arrangement

Ubiquinol
Hello ladies, so I should hopefully be starting my first round of IVF next week staring with a AFC scan as soon as AF arrives. Do you think it would be worth upping my dosage of ubiquinol CoQ10 between now and egg collection? Not sure if it might be too late. I’m currently taking 100mg a day. Thanks

Dopamine Agonist withdrawal syndrome
On what would have been Robin Williams' 72nd birthday, a reminder of how dangerous dopamine agonists can be. If you mention DAWS to a UK doctor, they have no idea what we are talking about. They mistakenly say it only happens if the patient had Impulse Control Disorder. It can affect anyone taking these

cataracts, glaucoma and astigmatism
I was diagnosed with glaucoma last year and had laser surgery which didn’t work. I now have cataracts which are causing me blurred vision. On my last visit to the glaucoma hospital the ophthalmologist said “you have cataracts” but he didn’t say anything else about it or whether I needed to get them done

Hello! New here! Can you take collagen supplements with potassium iodide at 50mg with Hashmotos disease?
I am very curious because I have leaky gut and want to supplement with collagen which I heard helps leaky gut. I heard potassium iodide is good for hashmotos as its like a detox for the thyroid. If you can help that's great thanks guys. Xx

Tingling sensation in my fingers and hands. Is it caused by augmentation ?
Hello everyone my RLS is getting worse. I live in Mexico. I wanted everyone to know before I got started because there are certain drugs like buprenorphine I can’t get here. I’m finding that my arms and hands have this funny tingling in them when I go to bed. No jumping like my legs. It’s just a tingling

Tortuous
I'm now in my 4th week (feels like years!) of reducing Ropinirole and taking Pregabalin. GP prescribed 50mg which I quickly increased to 100 and I am now taking that with 0.5mg Ropinirole instead of 0.15mg. The moment I sit and 'settle' (no chance!)for the evening off go the legs. I'm already very low

Hi,I have suffered from anxiety all my life, I've always been nervous and have little confidence. In 2020, I was diagnosed with CPTSD, and initially had a few sessions of EMDR, and also hypnotise, neither of which worked. I subsequent developed chronic panic attacks, which were more like seizures/ fits

Severe COPD and cataracts.
Hello Everyone, I had my eyes tested recently and the optician told me I had cataracts. He said, ‘you do know you can’t have the operation?’ Which I didn’t. From what I can find out it’s because I can’t lie ‘supine’ or flat on my back and also because of the increased possibility of coughing. I

Reaction to trabeculectomy
I'm 66 and it was decided that as drops were no longer controlling pressure, I needed to have trabeculectomy in both eyes. Had first op last summer but had a toxic reaction resulting in my eye being closed, severe reaction to light as well as constant irritation. 11 months later eye still not fully open
