Amputation?
Just kidding, new here and been reading a lot so thank you all. Been on ropinirole for 3/4 years now and it's not as effective (augmentation), so decided to come off it. A few weeks ago reduced from 1mg to 0.5mg for 2 weeks. Then I stopped, well I've not slept for 6 nights now and going out my mind.

Sleep journal/anxiety
Just a suggestion: I keep a sleep journal to try and track triggers, drug response histories, etc. One thing I added in the last year was tracking how good my days were--not just my nights--the day after when I note sleep duration/arousals. An unexpected result was that my anxiety about sleeping went

Late ovulation on ovulation induction medication?
Hi everyone, I'm in my first month of ovulation induction medication (Clomid or Letrozole which is unknown due to a study I'm participating in). I had the follicle tracking scan on cycle day 13 and I had 2 follicles at around 17.7mm and was told I'd ovulate in the next 24-48 hours. On my home ovulation

After being back on forth to doctors for test and rheumatology for over 2 years and getting nowhere. I rang up the doctors today to ask if they'd do blood tests as my knees have flared up. She checked my records and told me I had a positive rheumatoid factor tests in 2019, what could this mean? She told

lubion needle size
Hey, Quick question, I have been given 25G 25mm needles to use for the lubion injections, in the drug info sheet it says should use 27G 13mm needles. I know the 25G is smaller than the PIO needles 😬 but these still feel too big and I can't gauge how far to stick them in. What size did your clinic give

FET with a hemorrhagic cyst - any similar stories?
Hello. I had my baseline scan for my upcoming FET the other day. This will be my 3rd FET this year, the first two failed. This time they found a large looking blood filled cyst on one of my ovaries. Apparently it can happen after ovulation, it just fills with blood and can go away over time. The doc

Update on hospital visit
After my very traumatic post op telephone call I was right to be seen so it turned out. Possibility of detached retina, need to go back if floaters get worse or I have flashing lights. Great news my pressures are down! However have to remain on all my glaucoma drops, increase the number of dry eye drops

Impending macular hole
Hi, I’m extremely worried, my 21 year old daughter has been diagnosed with impending macular hole in the left eye. They’ve said they’re very concerned as it’s very very rare for someone of this age to have this. The retinol eye specialist is assessing my daughters eye X-rays in the morning and letting

Hello, fellow RLS'ers, This is actually my first post; I've been a member of our community for 3 1/2, and years have learned a lot in that time. I'm a 60yo male who lives in the US; I've had RLS for 20+ years but really didn't get to the point of needing medication until about 15 years ago, although

Eye test sorted
Just to let you all know, had a very thorough eye test today and am very happy that no GCA detected...she thought my xrays showed very healthy eyes for a woman my age! (71) Mild cataracts, but nothing else to concern me. We had a long chat about GCA and what I should be aware of so

Necrotizing scleritis
I'm struggling with ongoing eye issues. I had uveitis in my right eye which seems to be clearing up. However, I've started having intense pain in the same eye. This was diagnosed as necrotizing scleritis by my ophthalmologist consultant. Was given more steroid eye drops and prednisolone increased.

Would be interested in others experience with tolerance to gabapentin
I was on 1400 mg gabapentin for 58 days which completely eliminated my restless legs, but then had to increase it to 1500 mg because of restless legs. I have now been on this for 45 days and last night had restless legs. I take it 300 mg at 5:15, 600 mg at 7:15 and 600 mg at 9:15. If I continue to have

Short FET IVF cycle, no down-regulation only progynova
Hi everyone, advice needed please… I’ve had a failed fresh transfer and a failed frozen transfer ending in chemical pregnancy. My next option is to go into another frozen transfer on a short protocol with no down regulation. Has anyone had any experience of a shorter frozen protocol? It’s great to have

Methotrexate issues
For those who have been on this drug; how long were you on the drug before you tried to reduce the prednisone? Also did you get floaters in the eyes from it? I just started taking it by injection twice a week but was not given any direction when to start reduction of pred. I never had floaters before

Telephone follow up conversation
I was so upset yesterday after my telephone follow up phone call from the hospital. Basically the person talked at me, saying I was ok, it was like a reading from a script. I had to interrupt and ask if it was possible for me to speak on three occasions. One of my questions was regard to driving, to
