I’m 25 years old and was diagnosed with endometriosis 8 years ago. I’ve had 3 surgeries already and after my last one in 2017 I was told I also have uterine fibroids. I deal with ovarian cyst, heavy irregular periods, lots of blood clotting, and I’m in pain all the time. Usually my lower back, stomach

Paracetamol does not work
Hi all Following on from another post regarding paracetamol I noticed that almost every sub-thread includes at least one response along the lines of “safe, negligible side-effects, painkiller, better than x, just paracetamol etc etc ”, and despite posting a link to one of the most trustworthy research

Treatment options -pros and cons
Hi everyone. Sorry I’ve not been on much again lately - it feels like I’m only ever here asking for help rather than giving it but unfortunately life just seems to keep getting in the way and I just run out of energy I’m afraid. Sooo - apologies in advance as this is a long one. I had an appointment

Good CA125 result again
Hi everyone. Just a quick post to say that my CA125 was 6 again this week. It is now over 4 years since my last dose of chemo - Nov 7th 2014. And it will be 10 years soon since diagnosis in early September 2009. I am so thankful that ibuprofen appears to be working for me as an anti-cancer agent

Migraine with aura post ablation
My last ablation was sept 25. No problems with afib but am still having migraine with aura. What do you take for these other than nsaids. Also, I’ve heard caffeine and cheese can bring these on. Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks for any info!

More evidence of thyroid illness and Lyme Disease connection
It would be ridiculous to state that thyroid illness is always caused by Lyme Disease and/or other chronic infections, but the evidence mounts continuously that there is often a link. All of the patients I've met who are being treated for Lyme and other chronic infections need thyroid replacement to

Problem after cellulitis
I had cellulitis on my ankle about 5 months ago. I was prescribed antibiotics, which seemed to solve the problem. Since then, the spot where the cellulitis was has indented and is very flakey and a little sore to the touch. Should I be concerned about this?

Meningitis
My mum is at risk of meningitis and I’m afraid that if she doesn’t recover I will have to look after her and my severely autistic brother by myself. On Saturdays I have to go to my part time job and am still in school. Does ANYONE have ANY reassurance??

Decision made re shingles jab
Hi again. After reading all your helpful comments and having thought about it for days, I have just cancelled my shingles jab. On balance this is not the time to introduce further risks. Thanks everyone.

Holistic anti-inflammatory ideas
Hi to all, This is my first time posting and wanted to introduce myself. My name is Tess and I’ve been living with RA and supposedly fibro (I don’t necessarily agree with that one) for 12 years officially. Do any of you use natural remedies for pain and inflammation? I have been researching and trying
