A question for my most knowledgeable friends around the world.
Recently, three years after my diagnosis, after I stopped mirapexin, I switched to an effervescent formulation of levodopa called Sirio 25/100. I take half a tablet in the morning and a half after lunch (plus 1 mg of rasagiline in the evening). Why is the best time of the day in the evening from 5pm

TAKING TEA WITH SUGAR?
Once we are diagnosed with either Type 1 or 2 we are advised among many other to say ‘no’ to sugar! It irks at times to wonder its validity, while taking medication continuously to control our sugar level, and consuming rice, bread and the like which are also ‘sugar’ though a little away in the digestion

Hello again
I've been away for 2 years, but have decided to have another try at running. They diagnosed me as type 2 diabetic last year, and I managed, through diet to get 3 stone off. But lockdown has helped me put about 6lbs back on 😒. So I joined a gym and decided to try couch to 5k again. First week was easy

Medications & fiber capsules
I take 2 psyllium fiber capsules with 8 ounces of water, twice a day because if I didn't, I'd be making *hard bricks* and they would hurt like heck when they get... eliminated. The psyllium fiber capsule part gets dissolved and the psyllium turns into a gel that goes through my system and does it's

A carb mystery!
I am diagnosed with Diabetes Type 2. The mystery is: if I eat low (almost no) carbs, my blood sugars are high and rising. If I eat high carbs (porridge and honey sandwiches), my blood sugars drop. I am quite thirsty in the afternoons. My feet are slightly numb and have been for years. My fingers tingle

Tuning Fork Therapy
I don’t know if anyone else has tried this? It vibrates on the meridian line for pain. I could hardly lift my arm any more than 6” In any direction due to the pain, The vibration firstly made my pain come to the surface going from the tips of my fingers into the top of my arms, It felt very uncomfortable
