Hi I am just starting 16/8 fasting and only been doing Monday-Friday then being more relaxed at weekends...is this ok to be doing or am I wasting all my effort from the 5 days of fasting

I want to wish you well with your plan, it sounds a good one. I guess it depends how much you relax on weekends, as to whether you affect your progress, but I think it sounds like a really good plan. How are you finding it so far?

Hi I started this fast at start of September and noticed a big difference then I was on holiday for a week and obviously the plan fell away 😂😂 I started it again at start of the week and was wondering if I should be more stricter with the weekend thing as I want result quick but tbh I don’t want to tire myself out with it as I enjoyed stopping it for a day or 2 over weekend
YES! IMO it is an awesome plan. I have actually read it is better for your body to shake it up and not to do the exact same thing every day. So your relaxed weekend plan sounds excellent.
If you want more of a challenge, instead of messing with your lovely weekends, what about picking one weekday to go a little longer? Push it, say 18 hours, or even 20? :o)
