CLL Stage 0... Pulsing Rapamycin & Metformin & fasting
Hello, i was wondering if anyone had heard of this approach for CLL stage 0 (wait & see) there is multiple study showing that it might be beneficial to combine Rapamycin - Metformin and fasting to induce autophagy ... any advise or link would be appreciated . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eg1GbyOf-SY

Opthalmic consultant recommended selium. Is this the dose I should be taking?
I am already taking 200 ug selium. Yesterday I had an eye check to rule out Ted. After being referred initially by Specsavers to New Medica then on to a hospital to see a consultant. The consultant said she was uncertain and will check again in 3 months but recommended 250 mgs selenium and System Balance

Dr. Buchfuhrer Webinar on RLS.org
Just wondered if anyone else watched the webinar 10/13/22? The audio was spotty first 20 minutes or so but interesting after it was fixed. He answered questions for an hour. He said there was new research on TENS for RLS that seemed hopeful but not complete. I had been trying accupuncture for RLS and

dad newly diagnosed
Hi there, I’m new here. My dad has been recently dx with stage IV with multiple bone Mets, he had his first round (of six) of taxotere this past Monday and seems to be really struggling with side effects, just wondering if these typically subside within a certain timeframe or if it’s super individualized

One month post AV node ablation
It is almost a month since my AV node ablation and the swelling and shortness of breath have subsided. My pacemaker is currently set to rate response with a range of 80-130. I recently started riding my bike again taking it slow for now until I build my stamina back up. I am feeling much better and except

Coping with heat
I need your advice my friends. We live in the north of England and rarely get a heatwave but this summer we had 2 and my HWP, who is in his 29th year of diagnosis, really suffered. I looked on HU and saw this can be a problen in PD. I told him what I had read and dealt with it with fans and cold packs

AF and Metformin
My dr just put me on Metformin for prediabetes (only matter of time before I get diabetes) do you think there is any correlation between AF treatments not working and almost being diabetic. I wasn’t treated for diabetes before last week.

Hello everyone
I really hope I’m doing this right and posting in the correct place. This is my first week of joining the weight loss support. For the first few weeks I’m going to follow a very low calorie sole source diet. It seems to be the only way I’ve had success in the past. Starting weight today 88kg Would

Metabolic surgery in Type-2 Diabetes..
I saw an article in Times of india, Mumbai edition dated 26.11.2022.. ( see below).. More information from internet- The term ileal interposition is the process of replacing the last part of the small intestine and the initial part with the most brief expression. This surgery functions on the principle

Calquence and mouth issues?
I’m wondering if anyone taking Calquence has experienced white patches in their mouth? My dentist noticed I have one on my tongue side of gums. It doesn’t hurt and can’t be scraped off (fits the description of leukoplakia when I Google). My dentist thought it looked like trauma and said to call if it

WHY DIETING IS ALSO INSISTED UPON FOR DIABETICS WHILE UNDER MEDICATION?
Once diagnosed as diabetic, doctors prescribe drugs either to induce secretions of insulin or correct the varied qualities of insulin secreted, depending on the exact cause. raynauds pain 🥶
Hi all , This condition is slowly making everyday life quite difficult 😞 I have tried all the handwarmers in the world and some medication and nifedipine- but can’t cope with the side effects . As soon as I get a little cold my hands ‘go’ and the only thing that helps is running under the warm

NAD injections? What if anything can this so for PA?
Someone sent me info on NAD injections and how it can restore nerves and brain fog and all sorts of symptoms we experience with b12d, but doesn't claim to help PA or b12d. Does anyone know more about this? Online info is confusing too me. We make NAD. But it declines as we age. So injecting it is supposed
