A carb mystery!

I am diagnosed with Diabetes Type 2. The mystery is: if I eat low (almost no) carbs, my blood sugars are high and rising. If I eat high carbs (porridge and honey sandwiches), my blood sugars drop. I am quite thirsty in the afternoons. My feet are slightly numb and have been for years. My fingers tingle. I don't know whether I have diabetes or not. Is there an alternative?

When was your last appointment and A1c done? What did your doctor say about the blood sugars going too high/low?

My most recent A1c was 107, last week. Having a talk with the Gp tomorrow. No-one has discussed my odd levels with me.

107 is in mg/dl or mmol?

Okay. 107 is a good number. Anything before 140 mg/dl is a good A1c. My A1c was 9.2 (down from 9.8).
