New pain

Hi there guys I have been through a night from hell I thought I had suffered every kind of pain possible with the combination of neuropathy and RLS BUT last night about 11 pm I started to get a sensation like someone pushing a red hot needle up through the middle off my two small toes it’ happened about every 2 minutes & as you guys can well imagine I was climbing the walls has anyone experienced any thing like that please any help would be appreciated

I initially was going to reply this doesn't sound like RLS, but if it is periodic then I'm interested.

I have found challenging symptoms to be very successful. That would mean laying down in bed in a position so you can touch between the toes in the area with the periodic pain, not move and wait until the symptoms return. You can even benefit by counting between symptoms and will find it is exact. Mine are usually around a count of 40, but without counting I have noticed that the time increases through the night.

I will go into the details of why this works if it does and you are interested.
