Targinact
I have had RLS for over 20 years and have tried most medications, the latest being Pregabalin, which was good but is now not working so well. I therefore asked my GP if I could try Targinact as I read this is now licensed for RLS. He has agreed and I just need to taper Pregabalin. Can anyone

Share you with my opinions. There are many reasons for testicular pain, the most common reason is chronic prostatitis, epididymitis and varicocele. Hypo type episode on Dapaglaflozin/Forxiga, and Spironolactone, while waiting for a pacemaker upgrade. Advice anyone?
I felt sweaty and shaky after skipping breakfast this morning, and looking at the leaflet for Dapaglaflozin, I see one of the side effects is to cause low blood sugar levels. It's a diabetes drug which has been found to help with Heart Failure patients. It makes you pee away blood sugar. So I ate some

Apomorphine
Has anyone here, particularly with drug resistant tremor, been put on apomorphine? It sounds like a nightmare; a drug that has no relation to morphine, that's meant for dogs, makes you incredibly nauseous and sick, needs to be administered via a pump or injection and would be given during off periods

Question about mood
does anyone else get depression like symptoms, anxiety like symptoms and just an overall flat affect as you wait the month out for your next injection? I was self injecting in between but the needle jabs are starting to really hurt now so I stopped.

Latest liver ultrasound
I went to Duke for my six month ultrasound and bloodwork. It appears all is stable with my cirrhosis. Still well compensated and no signs of portal hypertension, ascities, etc. Liver blood numbers are good. Kidney function tests were way off, but with high diuretic doses and heart problems, that’s become

HEAL YOUR GUT! (..... many docs say that is WHERE PD comes from)
Many medical researchers and doctors have concluded that PD and other neuro diseases
START IN OUR GUT.
I believe that and that is why for
552 days I have been on the O.M.A.D.
(one meal a day with all calories eaten within a 2 hour window). I've lost about 50 pounds and I feel much better

Research on effect of red light
Not directly thyroid related but it sheds some light on how we might improve our metabolism at the cellular level, which our thyroids should be partaking in. The text is from my Facebook post, so the tone is for a different audience! https://youtu.be/6Win49aeh8A?si=c7sxkdvvzmceR2lN I highly recommend
