Ropinerole
I've been on Gabapentin and Ropinerole for 25 years, and finally got off due to the terrible effects of augmentation. I've been on Lyrica now for about 6 months, and other than not having daytime symptoms, my nights have been worse than ever. I was at a motel recently, and took one Ropinerole because

I make trying to suppress EBV a leg of my supplement strategy.
I replied to a comment with this comment, then decided to share it as a post also:
As somebody who has been exposed to EBV (mono), I make trying to suppress EBV a leg of my supplement strategy. I need to write up everything I think helps with EBV, but here is a short list: -

Help with NAFLD good foods
Hi Everyone, new to this forum. I would like to see a dietician but suspect I would be turned down on the NHS. Do people eat certain foods that they know are good for the liver? I have diabetes too and struggle to keep everything on an even keel. I don't eat alot of meat, more fish and veg. If I eat

wheat in cosmetics
I’m recently diagnosed with coeliac disease. I’m following a gluten free diet but have noticed that a product I bought to promote hair growth contains wheat germ amongst many other ingredients. As this product needs to be massaged into the scalp should I not use it?

Hi all, Increased anxiety has become one of my worst symptoms of B12 deficiency and (possible*) PA. I’m on 4 weekly B12 injections (Hydrocobalamin 1mg) on the NHS but I’ve not noticed any improvements so far. I’ve had the 6 loading doses and 2 further injections so far. I’m taking D3/K2 (3000iu/100ug

Appointment with cardiac nurse.
Visit to cardiology today. All good. Medication seems to be working.I was concerned about the fluid on my lungs. The nurse advised me to increase my diuretic. Not to worry too much about the 1 litre that the consultant advised me to have. Said about 1 and a half to two litres. Can't believe how much

Lactate/lactic acid in CLL
Has anybody heard of lactate/lactic acid in CLL? Thinking about Wimco’s "Pain in the body" makes me wonder if there is anything to the possibility of lactic acid causing some of the aches and pains many have. That is if CLL causes lactic acid. Just a thought.

diabetes due to fibrosis?
Hello I have been diagnosed with diabetes type 2. I am not overweight and have no family history of diabetes. I have had problems with fluctuating liver values but never very high. I wonder if anyone recognizes this? could my diabetes be due to liver fibrosis?

Repeat Lutetium/ Pluvicto treatment
Hello all, I am just curious if anyone has experience doing additional lutetium treatments. I did three lutetium treatments from September 2021 to January 2022. My Denver oncologist is concerned about bone marrow toxicity , but he does not have enough experience with this treatment to say for sure.

Still no diagnosis and feeling dosheartened
I felt so certain I had PA but my gp has told me both tests done were normal. My B12 has been between 190 and 246 and that was with supplements but it has always dropped down over the past few years. I’ve been given a 3 monthly B12 and had my first dose but my GP has declined me loading doses even though

My Labs are back- recommendations pretty please.
Quick summary- RLS for last 20yrs but self endured with no meds until Covid hit and exacerbated symptoms x100. Went to sleep MD and he just started with scripting meds….Gabapentin, Pregabalin, Busibar, Doxepin, Requip, Lunesta. None of these really worked…Requip kinda did but then it did not. So

Neuropathy in feet, stopping Cymbalta - try more natural?
I'd like to get your opinion if you have been on something like Cymbalta (Duloxetine) and came off to do more natural methods. I'd like to stop the Cymbalta that I've been using for years to help with the neuropathy in my feet and look at other way to see if I can control it vs using an SNRI. I've

Coming off Beta Blockers and Eplerenone?
My HA was over a year ago and I am reasonably pleased with my recovery, as measured by physical activity levels with no discomfort during exertion. I have a GP meds review coming up, and I would like to know if suggesting a plan to eventually come off Bisoprolol (1.25mg/day) and Eplerenone (25mg/day

adalimumab and supplements
hi, I’m starting with the above drug. Can I still take bodybuilding, protein, supplements, such as whey protein, and creatine? Also, before I start, should I get vaccinated for shingles and pneumococcal? Cheers Tony

W7:3 Fasting, timing, pacing, slowing
Well… I got out there, did the 25 minutes, and within a few minutes of stopping, felt OK. But the contrast between the last run, which felt easy, and this one, which is best described as ‘battling’, felt disappointing. I knew I hadn’t ‘cracked it’ and not all 25 minute runs would feel easy henceforth

Just saying hello.
I have joined this group because I have decided to stop killing myself with my bad habits and lifestyle choices. I am 71 years young obese with hypertension and diabetes I also have a problem with alcohol. I joined the drink free group on here about eight months ago and it has certainly helped, so now

Diuretics
Has anyone found a particular diuretic effective for swollen feet? when I first reported them to my GP, she prescribed Indapamide - which had a marginal effect. I was due to see my cardiologist a short while later, and told him what I was taking, he said 'No, that's the wrong one' and said I needed
