What creams are good for skin thickening? What do you use?
Hi All, I am noticing the scalyness on my hands is going worse and it is going down to my wrist now which is causing the tightening and stiffness around there. Are you using any creams? My rheumatoid doctor hasn't prescribed me nothing yet but suggested iloprast treatment... does that help the skin too

kidney functioning @33 percent
I just got back from my doctor. My kidney function has been teetering from 33-36 every three months. my potassium has been low several times. My blood pressure 134/82. But I feel terrible! I may be depressed or scared I am going to die. I take trimeterine which has a diuretic but I talk half of 37.5

Taking Creatine while on Zytiga medicine
Hi! My Father have prostate cancer and takes the medicine Zytiga. I take Creatine Monohydrate to combat my Rheumatoid Arthritis since it is very anti-inflammatory. I've read online that many take creatine to help fight cancer since it boosts and helps the immune system. My Dad asked his nurse if he

Steroid induced diabetes
I haven't seen too much about steroid induced diabetes. I was diagnosed with diabetes shortly after being put on Prednisone for PMR. It definitely changed my eating habits but I was able to control it with few carbs and more exercise. I was told that it might clear out as I taper off the steroids.

Any successful treatment with red light therapy for peripheral neuropathy?
Hello, I am wondering whether or not it’s worth pursuing some sort of photobiomodulation (red light) therapy as a way of addressing idiopathic peripheral neuropathy which, in my case, means numb feet with burning soles at night. Has anybody had any success with these types of intervention, either through

Does anyone take a diuretic to help with water retention?
I have for many years suffered from painful water retention in my buttocks and legs. I am also unable to pinch the skin on my upper arms. Ive recently been prescribed a diuretic to see if this will help. Do others have a similar issue? Or is it a sign that I’m still under medicated? My legs are painful

Almost Half Way There
I am almost at my halfway point in getting off of Ropinarole. I finally found an online doctor willing to let me start adding low doses of Gabapentin as I do this. My GP wouldn’t give me anything to help so had to seek help outside of my insurance coverage which makes me so angry. Anyway, my question

Tryptophan vs L-tryptophan, which is best?
I have long had a sneaky suspicion that serotonin is more important for me than dopamine. So now I am moving my focus to boosting those levels. I am completely confused about the difference between straight tryptophan, and the "L" kind. Anyone able to enlighten me?

Neuromodulation for PD “Glove ++” : Trials | Observations | Tips | # 2
Some notes on the 'gloves ' aspects and the challenges I've encountered from the ' pool' of Trial Participants. No doubt that in terms of ease of use , acceptance , ' benefits ' , detectable changes / differences - a PWP is first , MSA++ 2nd but PWP & LB ( even min severity ) is very challenging
