Injury woes!
Ibuprofen and
deep
freeze
are now a daily ritual, and every day when I wake I'm praying things will have improved. Sorry for the negative post but I'm beginning to despair about when I'll be able to run again. Any advice/encouragement from others who have had similar problems would be appreciated.

Is there anyone with DBS taking Madopar or Sinemet and then added Azilect?
This question is for a friend who is not 'online'. He has DBS and on Madopar several times a day. His DBS specialist prescribed him Azilect, several months ago, which he took for about one week, but stopped because he perceived no benefit. His specialist told him that he did not give it enough time

Sore! :-(
Hi all, I did a big hill walk on Saturday and then Sunday did my 30 minute run (week 9, run 1). I woke up yesterday pretty sore but played some tennis last night. Today was really sore in my thighs so didn't go to my usual Zumba class as didn't want to make anything worse. Did a swim instead to stretch

Thyroid and gluten
Hi, Has anyone with under active tried a gluten free diet ? If so what sort of results did you get ? Although I'm medicated, my bloods are good, I'm still gaining weight. I've just had a full hysterectomy and I'm now on HRT. I'm feeling a lot less tired, but just so fat and horrible. My GP won't up

Waiting a blood test result. What to do if it is negative?
I know if it is positive I get referred to a hospital and get an endoscopy for a diagnosis. But if it is negative? I've read some people still had an endoscopy and got a celiac diagnosis. I do have some celiac symptoms but I may be just sensitive to gluten and not celiac. Even the blood test is

Thought provera had things under control but back with a vengeance!
Hi! Felt the need for a bit of a rant today. I was finally diagnosed after a laposcrapy a couple of months ago after a long exhausting battle with doctors and consultants, paying for private scans and having to be really pushy to get an op. I have suffered from depression from the age of 13 and ibs since

Interesting?
I followed a gluten free diet for 3 months ending in January. Shortly after, I had my TSH done and it had gone from suppressed at less than 0.1(before going GF) up to 1.36. I have just had it done again, after eating gluten since January and it has gone back down to 0.5. Any ideas why?

Not sure whether to ask GP for more tests?
Hi Just wondering whether anyone can advise the best course of action for my 28 year old daughter please. She was diagnosed as having ME when 15 and for many years before this used to complain about simply “not feeling very well”. Her main symptoms in the last 5 years are feeling cold, numb hands

Strange but true, my story so far...................
I began having issues after an extraordinary event approx 20 years ago. Whilst installing an outside security light the wiring to the drill overheated and went bang and I nearly fell off the stepladder, a few hours later after having tea I was overcome with stomach ache and diarrhea and spent half
