Exercise & Afib
I feel that
cycling
keeps my heart strong but my brother is always telling me that I should only train at 85% of my maximum heart rate. My question is, do any of you do regular exercise? If so, what type & to what intensity? & lastly, do you feel that it benefits you?

The Power Of Exercise/Massage
Walking, running,
cycling
, yoga etcetera are just a few different ways. It needn`t be boring. Of course some people may not be physically able to do those things.

STRUGGLING TO UNDERSTAND
Worth noting is from 07 April in those two weeks i felt fine I was
cycling
25 miles a day 5 days a week, 90 minutes a day. I came off the PTU on 21 April for a week. In that week where I stopped taking the PTU my whole spine ached. After a week I felt somewhat better.

Waiting Hip Replacement- Advice
Ive set up my mountain bike in house with a stand,
cycling
about 10km a day, doing abs strengthening routine. My mobility has improved immensely . Great for winter/ lockdown. Before Xmas I was in right state with pain. This set up has made a huge difference.

Resuming cycling after trab surgery?
I'm interested in hearing from others who have resumed their bicycling after trab surgery. My doctor seems to be ok with it, but he did pause and say to "make sure to wear protective glasses". Which I've always done anyway. I have worn contact lenses, which I will not be able to do with the surgical

A cycle ride today
I went for a bike ride today for a change as it wasn't windy and not cold, I do not like
cycling
in the wind or cold. I cycled 39.68 km which is 24.656 miles. It'll be a power walk again tomorrow if the weather is kind.

Today's power walk - 1st set of photos
It was really lovely today as when I was walking through a park I met someone I worked with, she spotted me whilst
cycling
and stopped to talk to me. The strange thing is the chap she was
cycling
with knew my husband as they worked in the same office.

Journey update: LVV/GCA, tocilizumab and exercise
I also started to exercise carefully again and now manage to walk approx. 10,000 steps a day and I do regular
cycling
(up to 35 min, 170 watts, on a stationary bike - we still have snow around here in the Black Forest so outside
cycling
is not that easy) or running (up to 20 min on a treadmill).
