ADHD & Sensory Issues HELP
My 8 year old daughter has ADHD, ODD & SPD. How do I get her to wear different shoes & clothes? She refuses to wear any other shoes than the ones we got her almost 1 1/2 years ago. They are so small her toes are almost popping out of them. She also refuses to wear socks and that started when she was

Parents who disagree with treatment
My step son is 6 years old and has not been formally diagnosed with ADHD yet. The school and pediatrician won't test him because of his age. My 11 year old son has ADHD and it runs in the family. I'm not an expert but I know ADHD symptoms all too well. Our 6 year old not only has issues with impulse

Getting out of the pit of depression
I was really depressed partly because I got diagnosed with a movement disorder that makes me walk super slowly but also because I had just given up. Only shifting my mentality completely to the positive has allowed me to get off depression meds (I was taking lexapro). I also did 6 months of counseling

Breast cancer radiation as a long term cause of primary lung cancer?
I am discovering that my assumption that, as a lung cancer sufferer, I would be offered the same or similar support and
counselling
as I was as a breast cancer sufferer is proving very misplaced! Thank goodness for the Roy Castle Lung Foundation!

My Experience With Tinnitus
It is not unusual to find, some Hearing Therapists and Audiologists, that practice tinnitus
counselling
, were either born with tinnitus or acquired it at some time in their life as my Hearing Therapist, who was born with tinnitus.

Ovarian Cancer Worry
It's been pretty manageable thanks to numerous
counselling
and CBT sessions, but since June this year it's gone a bit crazy. I started feeling very bloated and 'bigger' around the middle of my belly. I am alot overweight, but I seemed to fill out all of a sudden for no particular reason.

W4R2 - I outdid myself and all I had to do was give in to my social anxiety!
I’m mostly on top of it thanks to some good old
counselling
, apart from when I inhale a fly but what kind of idiot would do that? Hang on... I’ve also come a long way socially but I still have my moments, especially with strangers who I irrationally think are judging me.

Help
Hey I just started back on meds for my depression, been struggling for years but the last year has been really bad. Isolating myself, serious anxiety and low self esteem. My husband has now told me that he needs us to go to counseling due to the "issues" in our marriage. These issues all seem related

Three And A Half Months Since I Lost My Beautiful Husband
The last time I was there the counsellor told me that she would like this
counselling
to come to an end soon, not because she didn't enjoy working with me, but because she felt that the end of this
counselling
process in itself would be an important part of my process of moving on with life.

Abused husband
I’ve come to another crossroad in my marriage. I have 4 children and have been married for 12 years now. This pass week we had a argument and my wife started to hit me and throw things at me. My 3 yr old was home at the time and fortunately did not get hit by anything but was extremely upset. My wife

Marriage ending
I can feel it , our fights are different now . We're both done with each other . We have been together 12 years , we have had our extreme ups and lowest lows . But even though there are times when I can't stand him , I still love him and I still want to continue to fight for our marriage . But I know

Anxiety is overwhelming
I suffer from anxiety and go through bouts every so often that really push me down and feel defeated. I've been doing a lot of counseling and working techniques to get through the tough times but it sure doesn't feel like I'm winning. It's hard for people to understand what it's like to go through anxiety

Lost
I don’t know if I want to die. I just want the pain to stop. The anxiety. Feeling like a burden. Like I can’t do anything right. I want it all to stop. But it doesn’t. I know my children deserve a better mother. I know my fiancé deserves a better spouse. I feel like everyone would be better off without

Coping with depression
My husband had an accident and has PTSD he has had
counselling
but until then he had nightmares and I was very often woken with him kicking and thumping me and he was totally unaware he was doing this. I told him to get
counselling
and he is better.
