Fertility counsellor

Hello all, can anyone recommend a fertility counsellor in the midlands area please? And if anyone has had counselling, would you recommend it? Think I'm at a stage now when I need it, am tired of being in that black hole all the time. Thank you for reading X

Really sorry I don't know any in the Midlands but the British counselling society have a really good website where you can find a counsellor locally and if you're having IVF your clinic might have one that you can use for free x

They will help you find someone who is specifically trained in fertility counselling. I’ve had it for nearly two years now, started for fertility, but there always seemed to be another hurdle in life! But I can definitely recommend it, I’d be a complete mess if I hadn’t had the support. By no means am I skipping about the place, but I’m coping and making better decisions (sometimes) about my life. Thank you very much for replying and it's good to here that you are finding it beneficial, am very apprehensive about having counselling, I'm such a private person and find it very hard to open up, will have a look on their website thank you X

is there not one attached to your clinic? I had treatment at Birmingham women's and there was one there i could have seen... Xx

we're having treatment abroad and my gp has been really unhelpful to us so don't want to really approach her about it, ty for replying X

I had counselling with a psychotherapist through my work and found it very helpful, hopefully it will also help you x
