Hey guys I'm 22 y/o and going to graduate from college in a year. I have been living at home and commuting to school for the past 4 years, and have been on the pre-med track since 2019. I did not take advantage of going to school, and although I made some friends, I've isolated myself from them for

help/advice needed please 😊
I had
counselling
at the time and have had it on/off since. I’m still really struggling to come to terms that I’ll never have a child of my own and still feel very overwhelmed by it. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

I’m waiting to hear about trauma
counselling
and adhd and autism assessments. I think my main issue is worrying about work and finances. I just can’t physically work at the moment yet I’m made to feel like I’m not helping myself or I’m exaggerating my symptoms by the gps, mental health services.

HANG IN THERE.
Pills, medication, cognitive therapy, sports/hobbies,
counselling
, meditation, diet. I mean each of our cases is different but all the coping strategies are the same like I said you just have to find what helps you.

counselling
I know of things like group music therapy for example, but when it comes to one to one
counselling
, it seems there isn't much information online.

Anyone try Neurofeedback?
Hi folks! I have a 12y/o son diagnosed with adhd, anxiety, ocd and subsequently has depression and low self esteem. His impulsive behavior has kept him out of elementary school and his attempt at middle school only lasted 4 mos. His lying, stealing and impulsive behavior has us living in lock down

Mixed Messages from a Woman I am Interested In
A few weeks ago I was out at a café that I like to go to once in a while and I noticed a woman who was attractive sitting across from me. I usually don’t approach people spontaneously, and I was nervous to do so, but eventually I started a conversation by asking her if she was the one I saw trying to

We have a
counselling
session on the NHS booked in for next month, but what can I do in the meantime? Also outside of supporting him, how do I keep my spirits high whilst feeling totally undesired and very rejected?

New-introducing myself!
Hi everyone! I am really thankful to have found this community. I was diagnosed with OCD probably about a year ago now, and have been working very hard with my clinical therapist since. I tend to struggle the most with relational OCD, but we've discovered that the OCD does creep up in nearly every area

Advice on how to help 14 year old wrecking his life
I could really use some advice from anyone who has been through this or something similar. I’ll try to summarize as briefly as I can- my 14 year old son has ADHD, depression, and anxiety. He had always been a kid with buckets of energy, no filter, and operates like a light switch (he’s on or off). Up

feeling let down
Emotionally I have had to start private
counselling
from the stress and worry taking its toll on me. I have now started grinding my teeth at night and feel anxious a lot of the time. Prior to his heart attack he was a regular drinker, smoked occasionally and vaped daily.

Applying for retirement on medical grounds, wish me luck
But it’s a huge loss of a life that I had visualised and it’s taken a good deal of
counselling
to get to this point. There are no guarantees that I will be successful in being granted early retirement.

FND Misdiagnosis
Like others here and on other forums the GP suggested
counselling
for the aches and pains bit actually turned out to be caused by vitamin D deficiency. It seems once misdiagnosed all labels stick and it’s very difficult to get overturned.

Trying to Help People Out By Entering Spiritual Counselling
If you’re considering spiritual
counselling
, I highly recommend it. I feel like I have found inner peace and it has inspired me to follow this career route. I’m looking to get my spiritual
counselling
diploma done through Holistic Healing College (https://www.healingcollege.co.uk/) in the UK.
