Chronic pain and family
I feel few things can be done in this case: first is regular
counselling
of the carers/ immediate family members so they can get rid of the pressure, negativity, exhaustion of living with chronic pain patient.

Counseling Support
I was wondering what experience anyone has had with counseling? I’m coming up on a year NED, which I’m thankful for but have been experiencing increased anxiety symptoms. My cancer center offers up to 20 sessions free I start next week, I’ve never been before curious.

Donor Eggs 4 years later
In the weeks following this time I went to my follow up
counselling
session which resulted in an extremely awful session whereby the counsellor and my husband made me feel so terrible that the culmination of everything over the previous 6 years sent me into a progressive depression for almost 3 years

How difficult is it to diagnose Adenomyosis?
I already feel like i am going crazy because i have had years of not being listened to and this clinician wants to take her hand at
counselling
me; eventually coming to the conclusion that i need psychosexual
counselling
and investigating for fibromyalgia.

Daughter brain tumour surgery-waiting for radiation-depression & aggressive behaviour increasing like with concussion or brain injury
I asked her to get
counselling
today or she could no longer live here. My husband left to live with his sister 2x to avoid altercations & I try to ignore daughters irritation, but it is becoming impossible.

OFF TOPIC:,20 year old daughter in acute psychiatric clinic today due to increasing intrusive and suicidal thoughts.
Dear all, just needing a listening ear today, hope that’s ok with all you lovely and helpful people on this forum. We are understandably very upset today as our 20 year old daughter has voluntarily entered a psychiatric clinic today on the advice of her psychiatrist, due to increasing intrusive and

Denosumab if bone strength increasing on ADT?
He finally seems to be willing to adhere to medicines after some
counselling
but I am wondering if he requires these in the first place! Docs seem to be having varied opinions. One says a maintenance dose of 6 months while another says monthly as standard practice. Many thanks!

Should I see a councillor
I know it’s still early days so will these feelings go away over the next few weeks or should I ask for some
counselling
? I’ve been told it’s available and lots of people go through these feelings but should I ride it out or what?

New to this Community - Introducing Myself
I've had ADHD all my life but much less was understood about it when a teacher first suggested it. I didn't fall into the list of symptoms they knew at the time. Years later, in my 30's, I was in a therapy session and the therapist realized I had ADHD. Now I see a specialist for the meds and a therapist

16-yo Daughter just diagnosed with ADHD
We now have the ADHD diagnosis I had suspected for some time. But the ADHD is alongside Depression. I'm feeling discouraged because over the years she has always resisted counseling, which we've tried several times (she struggles more than our other kids when things don't go her way), resists medication

ADHD support group in / near Coeur d'Alene, Idaho?
Hi all. My partner may have undiagnosed adult ADHD. I'm looking for resources and support groups near Coeur d'Alene (CDA). Ideally I'd like to meet and chat with people who might be able to share their insights and experiences. E.g. where can I find a good counseling service near CDA? Thanks!

Lupus, life, and counselling
Why
counselling
? Well lupus can take your sense of identity and not only that but those who knew you or family that once cared for you can really make your sense of self even worse if they don't understand, or can't emphasise with what youre going through.

Feeling ‘flat’ a year after bypass
I was being referred for some diabetes
counselling
before this happened but I took myself off the waiting list. The daily routine of planning, injections, testing, calculations etc is wearing at times. Thanks for reading my post and I hope people can relate. X

Got medication but theres a catch
I asked him about treatment and he's telling me to refer myself to
counselling
. I tell him I need some help in the form of medication. He is very reluctant to help, telling me that they only work 25% of the time etc. I then say look I need to at least try them.

Aviva - Excluding Endometriosis as a "Chronic" Condition
It's had an impact on both of our mental health terribly, I'm getting myself
counselling
but my wife is refusing to get mental health support as she thinks the physical element needs to be sorted first. The Endo was removed in 2018 and this was followed up with a hysterectomy in 2019.

Counselling for psychosis
Do anyone have a zoom recommendation for
counselling
or psychologist with psychosis experience? I want to talk about the traumatic experience of labour and the afterwards before I received helped. I have a current councillor but she has no experience in it.
