Has anyone had liver issues following covid pandemic
Hi all, this post has actually been prompted by being contacted by a member that has seen one of my previous posts, apart from that I've been away from the forum for a while. I've been experiencing issues since January 2020, and I'm yet to find out what is causing them. These included RUQ pain, itchiness

Reading my symptoms
I have been stuck on 5 mgs of Pred for a very long time. I attempted to reduce by half a mg. I immediately felt really ill, deathly sick and dizzy with nightmares. I have had a very painful neck for about 6 weeks. I took a Covid test because I felt so viral. I didn’t think my one sided neck pain was

Long time no running…
I have just realised it’s been five years since I last did C25K. a lot has happened since then, weddings, too many funerals, Covid and a hip replacement at aged 50. My question to you all, is there anyone on this forum that has completed this course post hip replacement? I have not run since it was

Covid and flu jab
What’s the experience of anyone who has taken covid vaccination and flu jab at the same time? I have heard(whether it be true or not), that having the jabs 2 or 3 weeks apart could mean feeling less poorly etc. What’s been the experience out there, especially for those who have had jabs(covid and flu

Covid finally caught me!
After being so careful for over 3years Covid finally caught me! My husband tested positive last Monday and despite keeping well away from him tested positive on Thursday. I contacted the NHS Covid helpline in the morning and had anti virals delivered to my door by 4pm. I am still testing positive today

PMR and Covid vaccine
Hello. I was diagnosed with PMR in March 2023 but had pain from October 2022 which GP put down to deferred pain from hip problem which I had seen a physio who gave me excercises which with hindsight cured the hip pain. I had Covid vaccine in early October and I didn’t make the connection at the time

Weaker left ventricle function (LVEF)
Hello all. I had a routine ECG for something else and they picked up I have a weaker left ventricle function(LV EF). This is 45-50% and apparently 'normal' is 50-75%. I am a very fit 50 year old woman, I have no symptoms - feel fit as a fiddle!. I have no background history of that might be causing this

Testosterone
Hi everyone, I'm a long time ThyroidUK participant. Right now the thyroid replacement is good, vitamins, minerals, are all great. I'm very particular to ensure this. I use HRT (Triestrogen/progesterone) topical cream and have used since age 45 and I'm now 65. Here's the problem: in March

Acalabrutinib/COVID/swollen lymph nodes under arm
Hi, I’ve been on Acalabrutinib for almost a year now. I have SLL. Everything had been going wonderfully, my lymph nodes significantly decreased in size, my 3-months follow up scan showed great results, my blood work looked normal, and the side effects were minimal. I recently noticed, however, that

Heart problems and the Covid autumn booster
Just had an interesting thought I'm below the 65 age limit for the covid autumn booster but I automatically get the flu jab each year as I have other problems. After having a heart attack last year would this qualify me for the autumn booster or not I had it last autumn but the goal post for age has

post Covid setback
Does anyone have experience with b12d recovery setbacks after Covid? I am 2 months into weekly injections, and had really started so see improvements. Then Covid struck. I am 18 days post-positive test…and my leg tremors have become far more noticeable, along with a resurgence of nerve pains in my hands

Greater susceptibility???
Read this, posted in another group: “BA.2.86 may be more capable of causing infection in people who have previously had COVID-19 or who have received COVID-19 vaccines.” Approved COVID vaccine that may make us more susceptible to the new COVID variant? Good grief!
