COVID
Has anyone on here had Covid during treatment? I am trying to be so careful. Online shopping, always wearing a mask when I'm walking or at treatment & avoiding contact with almost everyone but I am getting so tired of it. I need to be with family & friends or at least walk around a shop to lift my spirit

Covid - an odd experience ( ET JAK2 Hydroxycarbamide)
So 24 days ago I tested positive for Covid. I have had all three jabs + booster. The wonderful NHS sent the anti- viral drugs around in a taxi and I felt like I had flu: headache, runny nose, aches, cough sore throat etc. After a few days I felt better and finished the 5 day course of drugs. 12 days

Covid Jab
Just wondering what covid jabs people have had. I’ve previously had the Pfizer with no problems, I’ve now been told that maderna is the one being offered, I am worried about any possible side effects. I have ET, MPL + and I am taking Pegasys, I live in the UK. Thanks

Is it possible to have covid yet testing negative?
My husband tested positive on Friday. We had both been feeling unwell and fatigued. We had been on a flight together on Tuesday. My test showed negative and has continued to do so. We have mirrored one another’s symptoms all through. Today my husband feels better but I feel worse. Could it still

Suffering from Covid with adrenal insufficiency
Tested positive last Friday but I knew I had it prior to the LFT confirmation. On Saturday I was on the phone for 45mins being triaged for antivirals. I was informed I would qualify but no further call from the NHS, and it’s probably too late now. Yesterday evening I was running a temperature of 39.6

Covid & Antivirals
I tested positive for Covid on Saturday evening and I am having real difficulty in accessing antiviral treatment (I should be entitled to receive it due to immunosuppression). I had thought before getting Covid that it would be a very smooth system but that is definitely not the case! The window of

Very frequent ectopics after covid
Hello everybody, I had a rather mild covid in early June (fever, runny nose, fatigue) but after 2 days when I was tested negative I have been feeling constant bumping , pounding, missing beats in my heart. My Apple Watch ecg is constantly ‘inconclusive’ . My usual heart rate is rather low ( rest is from

Post covid missed period
Hi ladies, I hope everyone is well! Bit of an odd one, I had covid a few weeks back and have missed my period. I was due on Wednesday so I'm 4 days late. I have done loads of pregnancy tests and all are negative, I do have pre menstrual symptoms. Surely I can't be pregnant if all the tests are negative

AF and Covid
So I’ve now tested positive for covid after the bizarre week I’ve had with my heart rate and BP going weird again after months. I still believe it’s my body’s way of telling me something isn’t quite right but I can’t prove that. However, does Covid have an impact on AF as I have been feeling more breathless

Mannitol and sense of Taste/Smell
Mannitol was once quite a popular great white hope against PD, but only ever really seemed to benefit perhaps 1 in 5 at best. It did really seem to benefit me though. Given how cheap it is it is always worth a punt (I know big pharma study found no benefit, but we will agree to differ on how believable

COVID and if you have had what were your symptom?
After a couple of years of avoiding covid even though I have flown to Scotland several times and took a two week cruise without getting covid , both my husband and I have succumbed to the virus. I was as fit as a fiddle when I tested positive on Friday because my husband had it first , but now I have

Covid
Just wondering if after having Covid anyones platelet count came down. My platelets have been in the 500’s for a long time. I had my usual 8 week bloods and was amazed that my platelets had gone down to 385. I’m not complaining but curious. This is the lowest they have been since being diagnosed in

Total IgA, IgG, and IgM before and after Evusheld and COVID infection
I've seen people speculate here and elsewhere how Evusheld or COVID infection might affect total immunoglobulin values. I just got my latest blood tests back prior to my upcoming hemo/onco visit, and thought I'd share my N=1 results. I've had more testing than usual because I have a new hemo/onco, and

It’s got me (Covid)
After 2 years and 4 months of being extra careful, mask wearing, avoiding crowds etc. the dreaded Covid has actually got me. We’ve just got back from a family wedding in Ibiza (postponed twice in 2020 and 2021 because of Covid). There was hardly any mask wearing on the plane or in the airports. Our
