Well at last I got the dreaded Covid!! First signs were cough and awful taste in my mouth. Also my tinnitus was off the scale. I thought it was a bad flare! But this is different. Getting anti-virals tomorrow. I suppose it was bound to happen....

I've had it in the past, thankfully nothing more than a light cold for me and i didnt have the meds as they wernt available at that time. It didn't give me a flare either so fingers crossed you'll recover soon too.

Sorry to hear this! Hope the antivirals help and you get over it fast. I'm hearing of lots of folks getting it again. A new strain apparently. But on a bright side my D in law tested negative after 5 days. 🙏

oh no, wishing you a speedy recovery. I had it over Easter, tested negative on day 15. Started with feeling extremely fatigued then really bad flu like symptoms appeared on day 3 after the fatigue. Plenty of rest. I declined the anti-virals as I didn’t feel ‘bad enough’ but then I didn’t know what was bad enough’. I just took it day by day. Take care

Me too...after 3 years, my life virtually back to normal and I've finally succumbed like you! Same symptoms, awful taste in my mouth, tickly cough and tinnitus through the roof, I put it down to hayfever at first as it's been so high here recently but I did a test and it's positive . I rang my GP about a separate issue and she said I will need anti vitals as I've recently had Rituxumab. Hope you feel better soon and have you had the anti virals yet? X

Hi Salamanca Have you got the antivirals? I hope you get better quickly! I’ve just tested positive too for first time. I reported my test to 119 and they said someone would call me within 24 hours for the antivirals and to call 111 if I feel worse today. How long did you have to wait to hear back about antivirals. I’m not too bad at mo. Have stopped Baricitinib and left a message on the rheumy helpline. Best wishes to you xx

Hi Mozart150. I was unwell Saturday midday and 'phoned 119. That afternoon a doctor called me and asked questions. Then on Sunday morning a doc came to see me at home with an oxygen monitor. Then I got a call on Monday morning to confirm anti-virals are on the way from Southampton (I'm in Basingstoke). I'm still waiting. I think I'll call Southampton to check..

Sorry to here you have covid, as you need anti virals I assume you are immune repressed. Any flu type bug has to be taken seriously.

New research has shown that CBD oil is an extremely effective treatment for not just relief from the symptoms associated with covid but works as an anti viral as well. It clears the virus from the lungs and reduces the risks of infecting others.Of course as always vitamin D is ecclesiastical.
