I still feel unsure as the information I have been given is quite sketchy. My initial fibroscan in July 2022 seemed to be quite disconcerting as had a liver stiffness of 41.9Kpa with CAP 400, which apparently is the most they could record, so was a little concerned. But nothing was really discussed

OFF TOPIC Roll on 2023
Had covid about 4 weeks ago. Last weekend combi boiler broke down cost more to repair it as quite old so no heating or hot water until new on comes 5th January, fortunately we have electric fires and portable heaters. Just had hip operation today and told probably won't be out until Sunday or Monday😢

tinnitus and neck pains
Hello, I’ve had tinnitus for many years but I’ve noticed how loud it’s become over the last couple of years. I wonder how much covid has got to do with it (first time of having covid - followed by 6 months of long covid - in March 2020 and second time April this year). Apart from that, I’m also suffering

Sick relatives visiting!
Is anyone stressed about xmas socialising? My auntie's household has covid so we are not seeing them this xmas. But I have another relative that is coming today who said she has an awful dose of something!! We are staying with other relatives so I feel I have no control over the situation...even if it

Will covid spoil Christmas or am I not at high risk anymore?
We were expecting OH's parents, niece and nephew for Christmas, but the niece has just tested positive for Covid having felt unwell for a few days. When I was on 40mg pred I was at high risk and was added to the NHS list and offered antivirals if I caught covid. (I have never caught it yet! 🤞). However

Covid Treatment besides antivirals?
My husband tested positive for covid this morning and is on an antiviral medication. I emailed my EP and asked if I would be able to take an antiviral if I should catch it from my husband. Because my medications include Xarelto, Atorvastatin and Digoxin , he said he would not want me on an antiviral

Post Covid Queries!
Hi! I tested positive for Covid 2 weeks ago… it’s caused an asthma flare but luckily I got prescribed steroids for a week which, along with my Fostair and Ventolin inhalers, kept things stable enough for me to stay home. My GP signed me off for a further week after my 1st week of self certifying, however

Covid
Hello, I am looking for a bit of advice. My husband who was diagnosed with PSP 4 years ago and is currently on a respite break, he has contracted COVID and I am a bit scared due to the PSP and the whole chest infection scenario. He is due home later today as the respite centre is shutting for the Christmas

Post Covid/Long Covid with Bronchiectasis
Hi all Just looking for some advice, I went away for a short break to Spain in early October, anyway when I came back I had caught Covid, on the plane I'm guessing, as I was ok whilst I was there. I knew having mild Bronchiectasis that I would probably be in trouble, however the actual covid, wasn't
