I’ve suffered with painful periods for years, to the point I’d be on the floor crying in agony etc. I’ve had different medications, contraceptive pills and was finally given depo injections after I turned up to the gp sobbing where I was in so much pain so he referred me to gynae. Long story short I

Overwhelming fear of death
Hi everyone, I had PP last August out of the blue, and recently had a lot of stress that triggered similar feelings around the fear of death as ones I had with my initial episode. I called the crisis line and was really worried I would relapse. They said it is likely PTSD as it comes up to a year anniversary

Should I reduce my desogestrel dose?
Hi everyone I'm new here, sorry if this seems like a bit of an essay - I am after some advice about desogestrel. I have been on desogestrel for almost 10 months now (8 months at double dose). It's not been an easy ride, constant bleeding everyday (very heavy to start with). Finally at 9 months

Just been diagnosed, unsure of what to do next?
Hello! So I finally had the results from my MRI and it has confirmed endometriosis was found. It was honestly just utter relief. I nearly burst into tears. I have been going backwards and forwards, having test after test, advocating for myself, being gaslit by different gp's, for years and now

Hashimotos and Endometriosis
I visited my GP today following worsening period pain, and have been told that my symptoms and how the physical examination went are consistent with Endometriosis. A referral has been made to a gynocologist for further investigation. I found out in December that I have Hashimoto’s (but my thyroid levels

75mcg Levothyroxine starter dose?
Hi, 75mcg is what I've been prescribed by the endo. I last took Levothyroxine many years ago for recurrent miscarriage. Have just read the leaflet in the pill packet which says that those over 50 years old should start on 50mcg; I am 53, should I be worried? Thanks!

My cycle can range from 30-39 days at times . Sometimes around 29days . I used to have horrendous periods in my teens and teen years even into my twenties then my life changed and I was put on the pill . It regulated me and lightened them ALOT I've noticed as I've got older my periods got a little irregular

Between treatment pain
this is a bit of a long one (sorry in advance) I was diagnosed last year through private care that I got with my work at the time. I was told that I was at high risk of ending up with a colostomy bag if I went for surgery, so they pushed for ‘medical management’. My first gynae had already put me on

Getting Nowhere :(
hi there sorry if this isn’t the right place. I’ve just turned 34 and I’m really struggling mentally with the toll of trying to get answers about my fertility. I have been on the pill since I was 16 and came off in 2019 and started TTC. It took almost a year and a half for my period to return and since

My Story with Hashimoto'S and Delusional PMT
Hello, first of all it was good to have found this group. 🙂 Sometimes I feel alone and crazy, because I go for a test and it's "Okay." I'm from Portugal and I take Eutirox 112mg. I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's in 2018, but the test values were not high enough to take medication. (TSH, T4 and T3

Ok hang in there with me on this .... A few weeks ago I posted that I was struggling on 5mg - everything pointed to too higher dose, fair enough so gradually lowered to 2.5mg - I lost my beautiful and beloved Labrador after a cancer battle in early March 💔and attributed a lot of my depression to this

Should I keep pushing to be tested? Or are the doctors right?
Hi there, I am really struggling. I have always felt like something was not right about my menstrual cycle. I’m now 22, and have been bleeding consistently and sometimes heavily since December 2023. This is the worst it has ever been, and I finally decided to seek treatment for something I have ignored
