Best PCOS treatment/advice you have?
Hi all! I was diagnosed with PCOS a few years ago and at the time wasn't having any periods. Since they returned last year I've been having AWFUL symptoms and was recently told I have a hormonal imbalance in that my progesterone is far too low and my estrogen is normal (so I have estrogen dominance).

Implant removed over a month ago and still no period?
I had the
contraceptive
implant
fitted when I was 17 and had it in for two and a half years. It was removed last month, on the 3rd Feb. So it has now been over a month. When I had the implant, I had frequent periods, usually every other week for the whole 2.5 years.

Trying to conceive on levothyroxine
Hi there, I had been trying to get pregnant with my husband for about 4-5 months. I ended up going to the GP for an unrelated issue and thought while I was there I would mention the fatigue I had been experiencing for the last few months. I've previously been anaemic so assumed it was that! Was surprised

Progesterone-only contraceptive pill now available OTC yet Liothyronin/T3 is still like gold dust
The government have announced that the progesterone-only pill will be made OTC. (Now this isnāt a post about the morality of the contraceptive pill, everyone has their own stance on that - each to their own.) Yet doctors and the NHS carp on about how too much Thyroxine and certainly Liothyronin can cause

Confused about Metoprolol
I was prescribed 25mg of metoprolol, splitting the pill. Apparently Iām supposed to take it with food which means my first dose is around dinner time. The problem is I donāt eat after that so I have no idea when to take second half of the pill. I canāt take it around lunch bc thatās when I take my lexapro

how does the mini pill help with PCOS
i was just diagnosed with PCOS and my doctor immediately recommended that I use hormonal contraception, eventually prescribing me the mini pill. but I don't understand the benefit of using the mini pill if it won't regulate my period.

'Have a baby to help your symptoms' I don't want one yet!
Hi all, after GP saying my ultrasound is all clear (apart from normal looking cyst on left ovary), I spoke to my specialist to try and change the contraception I'm on (2x desogestral daily) as it's effecting my moods too much. This was the first time for her seeing my most recent ultrasound and she commented

Is this normal?
Hi everyone, I've recently been diagnosed with endometriosis, I had a laparoscopy just under 6 weeks ago and things seemed to be going ok as I'd had no symptoms. I'm on the combined pill, haven't missed any and yet I've started to get extremely bad period pain for the past 9 days and started bleeding

Mistake of taking Lisinopril with Caffeine
So, I only came across an article by accident but it stated that taking BP pills with coffee lowers the effect of the BP pill. Is this correct. I must admit pretty much every day I've taken the pill after I've eaten my breakfast and swallowed it with my morning cup of coffee. I've stopped that for now

Hi guys, new here. Was diagnosed a few months ago and currently not on any contraception but have heard there are a number of pills that work well in balancing hormones and helping with Endometriosis symptoms however I am a terrible migraine sufferer.
