Anxious
My GP suspects that I have endometriosis and advised me to take the pill back-to-back for 3-4 packs and then have a withdrawal bleed. I've been doing this for about 20 weeks now. I had hoped that I'd be able to take 4 packs of the pill at a time to minimise the number of times that I'd be bleeding

Restless Legs using sleeping pill
I have had RLS for years. It started getting irritating in my 40's and continued to get worst. I am now 85 and on Methadone, trying to withdraw from it because it is hard to get in Las Vegas. I am down to .5mg at night. I gave up my noon pill because of constipation.. I was getting very little sleep

What has helped you to prevent endo?
After the lap, my surgeon recommended I go on cerazette, but the last few days I have been getting really heavy bleeding. If it does continue I will reconsider other options as I believe 20% of women on cerazette experience heavy bleeding the whole time whilst on this contraceptive pill which leads to

New here - Advice for talking to GP - could it be endometriosis? Painful periods, irregular bleeding, bowel & fertility issues
Hi everyone, I've never spoken with a GP specifically about endometriosis, but after speaking with a few people I have been wondering if it could be. I have been multiple times to GP about issues relating to menstruation (pain, irregular bleeding/spotting), bowel issues, and fertility as have been

Endo and menopause
Anyone reached menopause while taking pill back-to-back? I've not had periods for years and terrified at the thought of stopping but I guess at some point I'll be able to. Did you get menopause symptoms while on the pill? Would I know if I did?! Reluctant to have conversation with GP as I think they'll

diagnosis in teenagers
My daughter has been having the exact symptoms I had with my endometriosis and has been on the pill to help since she was 14. Nearly 16 and although the pill appears to be helping and she is having periods every 3 months as advised by the GP, they are still painful, fainting. I just wondered how early

diagnosis help!!!
hi! I had my first specialist appointment recently and had another set of ultrasounds, and visual checks. They can not see anything visually wrong but mentioned the possibility of it being endometriosis due to symptoms but will not confirm this. Apparently the op (lap…) could make things worse? Due

Diagnosis Issue
Hi All, I have been having issues with my periods since they began but the last 3 years have gotten much worse. Every period I have seems to be worse than the last. Little update. Been back and forth to Gp and been monitoring my bp for past couple of weeks and its slowly coming down, my GP has advised stopping the pill so been off that for 2 weeks, this may be a factor that or being very stressed!

Confused about pressure and trabs
I had SLT in August. I was told to continue taking Latanoprost/Timolol. When I went to the follow-up 6 weeks later, the pressure was down to 18 L and 24 R from 28 and 34, and the doctor was quite pleased. I had to continue with the eyedrops and come back after 8 weeks . In the meantime I had an appointment

Endometriosis?
I have had crippling ovulation pain since having a caesarian 11 years ago. My GP prescribed me laxido to edal.lwith the severe trapped wind pain and reluctantly referred me for a laparoscopy but when I attended the appointment it was way too painful and I couldn't go ahead with the procedure. I continued

this is the future of hope…anti cancer pill in trials
This is breathtakingly exciting to read about…but can it happen soon enough to help us? Is this silver bullet we’ve been promised? A medication that targets only cancer cells and leaves normal cells unaffected… https://www.cityofhope.org/cancer-center-announces-first-patient-has-received-city-hopes-novel-potentially-cancer-stopping

Contraception
I have struggled to find the best method in contraception. I had the implant but it just didn't agree with my body, periods started to be around 3 weeks. I then went no the mini pill, which same thing happened. They then switched to combined and my moods became so low. My sex drive was non existant

Vitamin K2 for bones - how much, how frequent?
Hi, I have random question for anyone on here who is taking Vitamin K2 to support their calcium/magnesium/D3 intake for bones compromised by coeliac and/or allergic or intolerant to dairy. I do take a dropper type of K2 (oil based) which is pricey, and looking at cheaper brands that are pill based (basic
