Bleeding on the pill
Hi everyone, hope you can help! I’ve gone back onto the pill to try to manage my endo pain. I’ve been on cerazette (which I hadn’t taken before) which was supposed to stop my periods. I’ve been on it for 2 months and have been taking double doses last 2 weeks but still get sporadic bleeding. I didn’t

Experiencing First Ever Missed Period and I’m Concerned
Hey, I’m getting really worried as I’m currently on Day 42 of my cycle with no sign of my period arriving. I’ve never been late, or missed a period before. They’ve always been regular. I was on the combined pill and came off it back in September. Since then, my cycle length averaged at 32 days. Since

Hi, After being very ill for a month and ending up in A&E which was due to a reaction with the
contraceptive
implant
, my thyroid was also checked and my TSH was 3.33 (no other results as this is the NHS) anything over 1.85 I usually get all my symptoms back but the docs won't listen blah blah blah..

Is the coil known to be more effective than the pill?
Hi all, I am a bit confused and wondered if anyone has had the same experience? Why is the Mirena pushed over the pill? My gynaecologist has put me on the Mirena coil that I’ve had now for about 4 months. I am not really enjoying it to be honest and have been having quite a sore stomach and I feel

Period issues
I’ve been in birth control for years. I’ve switched it a couple times due to cost. But overall it’s been helpful with regulating my period and helping with cramps / excessive bleeding. Over the past couple years, I’ve had spotting almost weekly. My doctor knows about it. I’ve been in for ultra sounds

Gedarel Pill
I’ve been on the combined pill, Gedarel for about 7 months now but still experiencing bad mood swings when I start taking the pill again after my 7 day break as well as before my period starts. Should this still be happening after 7 months? Not sure whether to change pill or not.

Period after pregnancy
Hello, before getting pregnant I only had periods while on the pill. I have a 4 month old baby which was conceived via IVF and today I got my period! I’m really surprised and wondering if is possible that my PCO could’ve sorted itself out after the pregnancy. I still have 3 frozen embryos but obviously

HELP! What do I do next?
I had a phone call today with my NHS consultant, I have always suffered from heavy painful periods, excessive pain and very bad hormonal acne for as long I’ve had my periods from age 11 - I am now 23. I had a diagnostic laparoscopy last August to diagnose endometriosis (they didn’t find any) and they

Driving myself insane. Would one week after ovulation be the same as one week into the TTW?
Don't even know if that makes sense so I apologise in advance if no one knows what I'm talking about 😂 and sorry if it is a stupid question but my head doesn't seem to be working today either. Basically I stopped the pill on the 29th May. I have PCOS and have not had a natural period in forever. I

Advice Please.
For the past 5 months my periods have become irregular with them occurring less than every 21 days. They are heavy and I am in a lot of pain. I am not on any contraception due to migraines and my hair is becoming thinner than usual. I’m really worried but don’t want to be a burden over nothing.

Femodene??
So a couple days ago I went to go see my GP to update her on what a gynaecologist had said about me having IBS and not endo. She was horrified at the things he said about trying a diet and more exercise even though I had mentioned it caused me extreme pain. She is almost 100% convinced I have endometriosis

Should I refuse hormone treatment?
Hi there, I'm 19 and am in the midst of getting diagnosed with endometriosis. Due to pain I am unable to go through with transvaginal ultrasounds or invasive scans, so the next step for me is an MRI with contrast. My Consultant has informed me that regardless of the results of the MRI he would prefer

Taking a pill late (combined contraceptive pill)
I'm currently taking the combined 21 day pill (microgynon). I'm in my first week and took a pill 19 hours late. During that time I had unprotected sex. Am I still protected from pregnancy? Do I need to take a morning after pill?

understanding if withdrawal bleeding means you are not pregnant(if my bleeding is regular and heavy like a period)

Ladies, contraception and ET JAK2
Ladies, I was diagnosed by accident after going to the Doc for really heavy and painful periods. Paracetamol wouldn’t touch it and I can’t take Brufen anyway due to having IBS. So now I have a diagnosis of ET, I’m on 75mg aspirin which, as you’ll all be aware makes bleeding even worse and can’t be
