Anyone had the same?
Hi,I wonder if anyone can help me, I had an ultrasound today and was told I have endometriosis, fibroids, a cyst on my left ovary and my right ovary is stuck to my uterus. They're going to refer me to gynae but have been warned this can take months....I'm 43 and don't want children so honestly hoping

Endometriosis and the Kyleena IUD
Hi all, Just after some experiences please. I went to my GP to ask for a hysterectomy due to my increased symptoms of endo that I've had since I was 11 (I'm now 36). I have been absolutely blessed with having a child of my own and have now got to the stage in my life where child 2 isn't on the cards

Bowel Endometriosis ?
Hey, so I'm a little confused and looking for advice! I was referred for a Laparoscopy 2 years ago with my main concern being ongoing issues with my bowels which are taking over my life. I of course had the typical period problems too before being put on contraception which stopped them completely..

Should I take pill after endometriosis surgery?
I was diagnosed with endometriosis and I had surgery last year. I had excisions with ablation. Doctor didn't prescribed anything later on. My follow up appointment has been cancelled many times. I had my first appointment only after 5 months. That appointment wasn't even long enough,it's seemed she wanted

POP breakthrough bleeding
Hi everyone. I've been put on the progesterone only pill by my gynae to see if it helps my symptoms (still not actually diagnosed with endo). I'm only nine days into taking the pill. I know it takes a while for your body to adjust and that breakthrough bleeding is common, but right now it's like I've

WORSE BP MEDS EVER (AMLODIPINE)
Hope I have enough room to write this. My wife and I both took amlodipine 5 mg. I was on it for about 10 years and my wife for 5 years. My wife was having all kinds of problems and I didn't think I had any. Well boy was I wrong. When she quit taking it the withdrawals she had made me quit also. I figured

Radio silence
Hi all, has anyone had any experience with chasing their gynaecology department after not hearing from them? The gynaecologist I spoke to on the phone in Feb 2023 said they would be in touch in 1 year to review the pill I'm on, but I haven't had any correspondence from them and it's been over a year.

First Lap & Mirena insertion next week
Hey guys... I finally had the call from the hospital to book in my laparoscopy to excise my endo (picked up on MRI scan) which is on Thursday - I have been waiting for what feels like forever while my symptoms worsen so this is amazing news for me 🥳 They are also going to be placing the Mirena coil

Teva being issued in Hillcross boxes!
Has anyone noticed that Levothyroxine by Teva is being sent in boxes marketed by Hillcross. I’m really annoyed about this as I specifically said to the pharmacist that I can only tolerate Mercury Pharma brand. He said he would source them. He couldn’t, but suggested Accord. I said I’d check the PILs
