Are these symptoms normal?
Hi! I have been diagnosed with PCOs in 2016, when I was 16 years old, after my period didn’t come back for 6 months. I started taking the contraceptive pill (Yasmin) a few months later, and my periods were finally normal! A few months ago, I started noticing side effects caused by the pill, such as

To those successful in the IVF process, what supplements did you take?
Hello, It looks as though I will be starting IVF soon. I've never even been on the pill so pretty scared about injecting hormones. The consultant says there's no evidence around taking supplements but I've seen some of you talk about them. I take "trying to conceive pregnacare", my diet is great and

Copper Coil
I had the copper coil IUD fitted a few days ago and ever since I’ve had a bad smell down there on and off and a light brown discharge... also I just transitioned from the pill and it was inserted on the last day of my period. What could this be? It’s making me miserable because I don’t know...

Bad reaction to levo--what now?
Hi all, I had a bad reaction to my first experience with meds and am looking for some help. Earlier this month, I started on 25 mcg of generic levothyroxine after convincing my doctor to try treatment. Here were my labs at the time: TSH: 4.53 (.4 - 4.50) FT4: 1.1 (0.8 - 1.8) T3: 79 (76 - 181) For

How do I get my period back?
Ever since I got my first period, it had always been irregular. It would be super heavy and last for 4-6 weeks. When I became 14, I started taking the birth control pill to help regulate my cycle. I was diagnosed with pcos. I’m now 20 and just over a year ago In August 2019 I stopped taking the birth

Hello Ladies. Firstly a really big apology. I haven’t been on the forum since round 2 ended in a BFN. Iv really tried to keep my mind off all things infertility. Iv concentrated on getting as much sleep as possible and staying as relaxed as I can to be able to come back fighting fit for round 3 💪🏻

Bleeding /spotting after being on mini pill for 2+ years
Hi there I just wondered if anyone else has ever experienced what I have with Noriday mini pill, or any contraceptive pill for that matter. I began taking Noriday mini pill over 2 years ago now and for those 2 years I had no periods or spotting what so ever. All of a sudden 2 years later I start

New here
Hi everyone, I’m new here! Just last week I was diagnosed with polycystic ovaries after going to my GP and getting bloods etc. Came off the pill (rigevedon) in February and have yet to have a period. Husband and I have been trying for a baby but obviously it’s not going to be easy. He’s to do a semen

IUI cancelled - should i take norethisterone
i have had my IUI cycle cancelled as yesterday on baseline they discovered 2 cyst 21mm and 27mm. they have advised me to take norethisterone to prevent it growing and for them to hopefully clear by the next round. i am convinced that the clomid and other hormones i took produce the cyst. should i go

Bleeding for 13 days
Hello ladies...hope you’re all doing well. So I’ve been in my period for 13 days so far. I know that it may be because of endo and fibroids but my period never goes beyond 7 days. Unless I’m taking contraceptive pills. I have tried to get an appointment with my GP but no luck so far. Any advice or ideas

Pill priming made me have less follicles on day one.
I have low amh 0.4 and 36 and lately the doctor can only see 1 follicle on each side which normally had 3-5 in total.I feel since I started the pill priming it became worse. I'm so devastated. My chances look now extremely slim. Can't stop crying.

Just wondering if anyone has had similar......
Morning all I have been on the pill for years, since Feb I have been having breakthrough bleeding and a lot of pain and very heavy bleeding when having the week break on the pill. GP did two scans which showed ovarian cysts and adenomyosis changes. Had telephone appointment with gynae who also think

Bleeding on the combined pill.
I’m on the combined pill and have had very light bleeding. The pill I take means that I don’t have to take a seven day break period. Should I be worried that the pill isn’t effective and I’m still having my period? Is that possible?
