Feeling a bit lost after being ditched by hospital/GP after surgery/diagnosis
I'd been having symptoms for about a decade (and I have some other health conditions), but I finally got a referral to a gynaecologist last year and I had a laparoscopy on 27th May 2022 which the consultant came to me afterwards and said that she had found a couple of patches of endometriosis that she

Looking for some advice for hair removal
I was diagnosed with PCOS around 12 years ago. I've been on the pill to help with periods and facial hair but in the last 6 months or so the facial hair is getting worse and worse. It's getting to the point where I have to do hair removal twice a day. I can't afford laser removal so was wondering if

Hey everyone! Hope the sun is shining where you are today 😀 I finally had my telephone appointment with someone from my chosen endo specialist centre, after a year of waiting, several cancellations and a last minute change from face-to-face back to a telephone call… I had an MRI in April to check the

Has anyone heard of someone having majority Endo symptoms, but nothing found in their Laparoscopy?
Eventually last year I was unofficially diagnosed with Endometriosis and was put on the pill to mask the symptoms. It did help calm it down but didn’t do great for my mental health, so I came off probably a month before I had my investigation laparoscopy. The laparoscopy came back with nothing being

Should I come off the pill?
I have been on the pill for around 5 months now, and it has helped a lot!! However, I’m beginning to get regular pain again- in my abdomen, when I pee, in my back etc. The pains are not as severe as what they were but they are still bad. I just want some advice if whether I should come off the pill

Any advice on what pill to ask at gynea consultation?
Hi all, I'm considering going on the pill again to manage my endo symptoms. It's been a while since I've taken any hormonal contraceptives. I know it all depends on many factors, but what would you advise me to ask for? Is there any particular pill that is better for endo management? Thanks!

250 mg dose of Abiraterone with low fat meal
For those of you on this protocol has anyone described the size of the meal necessary to make this work effectively? I recently switched from four pills to one because of high liver enzymes. I used to take the 4 pills around 1 AM when I got up to pee. Having a little trouble remembering to take a single

Next appointment
Good morning all, so I had my first appointment with gynaecologist the start of May after waiting over 9 months after my referral and 3 cancelled appointments by the hospital, the doctor was great he asked me if I had heard of endo and sent me for scans, but was certain I would need laparoscopy. He

Endometrioma and IVF

This was first observed two years ago with my first fertility clinic. They were not concerned about it and actively told me not to remove it because of the risks of reducing

How long before a double dose of the pill works?
Hi, I’ve been on the mini pill since December and bled constantly throughout. I can’t take the combined pill so my Gynae has put me on a double dose of the mini pill (cerelle). I’ve been on that double dose for a week. I’m still bleeding. How long does it take to kick in if it is going to at all? Thanks

Cleared the Slate and Started Over
I felt like I was spinning my wheels, so I basically cleared the slate and I am starting all over. I went through surgical menopause in my early 40s and now I am 58, so I am trying to figure out sex hormones as well as thyroid. I know I need adequate amounts of estrogen and thyroid to feel well. My problem
