New here! Any advice on my teenage daughter's blood test results please?
Is there anyone who could read these results for my teenage daughter ? She's 15 (just). Very heavy periods since 11 years old, suffered for years until they started lasting 3 months non stop. Now on the pill which helps to regulate them (but I'm not overjoyed at) Lately she has started having severe

Spotting when due to start ivf
Hi, As the title says really - typical of my body to not do as it’s told! I’ve started spotting even though I take the pill back to back as I have endometriosis. I’m due to start injections at the start of June but I’ve just started spotting/getting cramps. My body does it every few months as if it

Gynaecologist referred me to the gastroenterologist
I've been suffering with bad pelvic pains for about 3 years now, always had heavy painful periods as a teen but only really investigating it now as it keeps me up at night and is literally excruciating. I am 22 now. I was bounced around GPs for about 2 years and finally decided to see a private specialist

Can a 3 year old MIRENA coil cause thrush symptoms.
Hi all this is my first post. I’ve had the mirena coil for the last 3 and a half years. I got this after being diagnosed with PCOS at an early age and not having much luck with the pill. I am undergoing a huge period of consistent pain and now I’m in the process of going in for surgery to see if

Thyroid swelling
About 2.5 years ago I noticed my neck looked a bit swollen and I feel like it’s got steadily more pronounced. Blood tests (FBC and U&Es and free T3, free T4 and TSH) are normal and my ultrasound was normal and the GP couldn’t feel anything when he felt my neck. I’m 31, a midwife doing shift work and

Good morning ladies! I hope everyone is well. So I thought I was starting my next IVF cycle on long protocol next month. Given this will be my 6th cycle I really want to give it my best shot. I do have a few embroys in the freezer but due to my age my consultant suggested I harvest more embroys whilst

Help/advice about periods please!
I'm messaging here because I've been dismissed by male doctors before and I'm not sure whether to make an appointment or not. I've basically always had irregular periods but they've been getting worse and worse - heavier and more painful and I can never predict when I'll get it. Cycle length varies

I am also taking Escitalopram (at the same time) and on the Nexplanon (

). Although I was diagnosed a year ago, I don't fully understand how to read the results.

Combined Pill at 38
I’m 38 and just started back on Microgynon after being off the pill for 10 years and having 2 children. I started taking them 14 days ago just 2 days before my period started. I’m still bleeding which I didn’t think would happen it’s only really light I’ve also had headaches more than normal. If I stop

Can you use Utrogestan as contraceptive?
I'm nearly 44 and was diagnosed with early menopause at 41. I was on Femodene for 2 years (from 41-43) but started to have serious side effects so switched to HRT. I am now on Oestrogel pump gel and Utrogestan pill 14 days on/off which gives me a monthly bleed. I feel like a new person on HRT but I'm

Medication Side-Effects Are Scary
i have suffered from anxiety and depression for many years and have mainly treated myself through exercise, meditation and Xanax as needed. Recently after having a dental problem, I have not been able to stop obsessing about dental treatments and it has taken over my life. My doc encouraged me to try

Spotting/slight bleeding at time of laparoscopy
Hi, Does anyone know if it matters if you are spotting/lightly bleeding when you have your laparoscopy? I’m on the pill and my periods are all over the place. So worried my surgery will be cancelled again. I wasn’t told this at my pre assessment so didn’t think anything of it. I can of course ring up
