Hi everyone I was wondering if anyone could advise me about what to do going forward. In February 2023 I woke up one morning and I felt like the whole room was spinning and I was struggling to hear out of my left ear. This happened for over a week. I went to the doctors and they prescribed some antihistamine

Triggers for AF
I have been getting AFIB 30% of the time when i was wearing a 14 day heart monitor.I was already taking Apixaban 5mg and Soltalol 40mg twice a day. I had Pulmonary embolisms in March 2023 from a DVT in my lungs. I am 52 years old and had good fitness until the DVT struck. I had been drinking red wine

Cramps
I have been having a few problems with my hands lately, stiffness etc which my GP originally put down to old age and arthritis, but just lately I have been getting cramp in my left hand which can be painful, do you think this could be due to arthritis or possibly something else?

Not Eating
Hi Everyone, I've not been on here for a while but could do with some advice. My partner has been in hospital twice over the last 3 years with alcoholic hepatitis (the second time his liver was failing but the steroids seemed to work) and he was back to normal. Almost a year on from his last hospital

IBS and wind
I have had IBS for years and I am really suffering at the moment not only with the unpredictability of BMs but also terrible bloating and wind. It seems to be worse as soon as I go out shopping or to social events. I wonder if anxiety is partly to blame. I keep a food diary and am really careful

constipation anyone ? Here’s a good solution
hi everyone I ve read here and there posts regarding constipation. If you’re affected you might like to try my homemade rocket muesli! I prefer to make my own because I like organic stuff and knowing what’s gone into my food. you could of course simply buy no sugar muesli and add 2 tablespoons ground

Dosage for gabapentin enacarbil ( also known as horizant).
I have been on gabapentin neurontin for several months but I read that on the Mayo website that the time release version (horizant) is better suited for treating RLS. I currently take 1200 mg of gabapentin neurontin in two doses at 7 and bedtime. I have now convinced my doctor to prescribe the horizant

Rituximab experience?
Hi all. I have had large vessel vasculitis for over three years which, despite several different treatments, is proving difficult to control. An FDG PET CT scan last November showed some inflammation in all areas of my aorta still. I have just started Rituximab infusions. This has made me feel even more

Hello, I've recently become very intolerant to gluten which has been a bit of a shock. I read online that it can be triggered by anxiety and it happened at the time of a serious family crisis. Can anyone tell me if this has happened to them and if so, if it's likely to recede or am I am stuck with it
