I have been having a few problems with my hands lately, stiffness etc which my GP originally put down to old age and arthritis, but just lately I have been getting cramp in my left hand which can be painful, do you think this could be due to arthritis or possibly something else?

It could be you need to push up your levels if magnesium, calcium or vitamin D. Keep hydrated too. It could be overuse of muscles of course.
