Hi I am fairly new to this group but have years of endo experience!!!
I have undergone hormone treatment, uterine ablation and am now on the emergency list for FAH and
colostomy
due to the undiagnosed lesions that have damaged my bowel.

Big Decision
This would mean I have a
colostomy
bag. As a newly single person, this really scares me. Apparently my ovaries and bladder are covered in sticky residue (endo) and have stuck internally in a slightly different position. Has anyone had this kind of op? I would really appreciate feedback.

Temporary colostomy bag - how long?
I have been advised I am going to need a temporary
colostomy
bag, I am wondering if anyone has had a similar procedure and how long is "temporary"? I was maybe thinking a couple of weeks but upon reading online I am now thinking much longer? Xx

Neuroendocrine
He had a
colostomy
, then chemo which didn't work, then radiotherapy that shrank it enough for them to operate. They removed his anus with the tumour intact and 20 lymph nodes 13 of which were cancerous. They followed up with a different chemo to kill any remaining cells, this again didn't work.

Significant chance of bowel resection and
colostomy
. Its what I expected, but it's hard. Such a big decision.

Endo with the bowel
My gynae told me that may have to have a part of my bowel removed during my excision surgery (30% chance) and a temporary
colostomy
bag put in. Has anyone else ever had this? I'm really scared about the whole thing and reassurance would be great if anyone has any! x

Chronic Pelvic Floor Pain Sufferer
This condition weakened my Rectal muscles and I could not expel a bowel movement by 2012 and I had to have a
colostomy
. Surgeon said he could divert the bowel yet it will not help the nerve pain and he was right. I just feel like the pain is getting worse,.

HAS ANYONE HAD SUCCESSFUL IVF WITH HYDROSALPHINX?
my tubes are both blocked with this and because ive got a massive past history of surgeries so they want to proceed straight to IVF as i could end up with a
colostomy
if they operate. I have read so much online that hydros drastically cut your chances of it working! xxxx

Bad day!!!
Bowel perforated, I now have a
colostomy
. Ive had pneumonia which has not quite cleared up yet. I was in hospital for 3 weeks, came out and suffered bad anxiety attacks. Didn't want to see or talk to people. Cried a lot. Then had to get a grip of myself as I wanted to give up.

How can I find me again!!
I have a
colostomy
bag now and I'm told I have Chrohons disease, there is apparently some left in my bowel so I have to have further tests, it's not curable but can be put in remission. I also had a pleural effusion, my left lung filled with fluid and it was difficult to breath!!

Nearly 2 years
I had debulking surgery and a
colostomy
in July 2014 and chemo until Jan 2015. Have been all clear since then and getting on with living life to the full. Some days I wake up and every part of me aches and I can hardly walk. Other days I leap out of bed full of the joys of summer.
