PMR and Colitis
Hi, does anyone one have experience of PMR and
colitis
? I've been diagnosed with PMR with pain in my legs and arms. I had a petscan recently that showed inflammation in my colon so I was wondering if this could be causing a secondary inflammation in my leg muscles?

Hi can anyone tell me if breast tenderness is a side effect when reducing on prednisolone? Gone from 15mgs last August down to 9 mgs this week but breast tenderness and sharp abdominal pains now and again. Are these common and do they go away in time. Many Thanks

Recently diagnosed
In January I was hospitalized for 4 days with a severe infection,
colitis
, vomiting and I was basically pooping blood. The hospital did a CT where they saw the
colitis
. They first thought I had ecoli, then ulcerative
colitis
, then chrons.

GPA AKA Wegeners granulomatosis
In 07 I was diagnosed with ulcerative
colitis
so every time I then went to my GP with more and worse symptoms, it was ALL put down to the UC but I knew there was something more wrong. I suffered for over 10 years as a result.

Nicotine & benefits in gastrointestinal tract
Hi all, I was first diagnosed with ulcerative
colitis
in 2007 & this was later changed to a diagnosis of Crohn's in more recent times. I am also now going through the process of diagnosis of what is believed to be GPA\Wegeners.

Psudomonas; now C.Diff!
Now in hospital with severe
colitis
caused by c.diff! Feeling right sorry for myself after too much googling! In the middle of moving to France too! Just got to get well right now. The c.diff was no doubt a consequence of the ciprofloxin which I took as a first line defense against Psudomonas!

Undiagnosed- help please.
After seeing the emergency GP last week, she said it sounds like a flare up of Crohn's disease or Ulcerative
Colitis
. (She said this after rectal examination, and examination of my stomach.) I was wondering what people's opinions were. On what it sounds like.
