Vedolizumab positive comments?
Hello, can I ask if anyone is receiving vedolizumab infusions that is having positive effects on their ulcerative
colitis
? How is it helping? How are you feeling?

Colitis: My confusing Gastro & 'Medically unexplained'?!? related illnesses
He said, and I quote "there are many things that occur in
Colitis
patients that are medically unexplained. This may be just 'one of those things'". This leads me to believe that it is something frequently seen in
Colitis
patients, but I cannot find any studies indicating this.

For those with vasculitis AND pain in the stomach
I already have inflammatory bowel disease, diagnosed at dirt as ulcerative
colitis
but then changed to Crohn's. This was in 2007. I have had awful bloating and a very severe reflux and it was treated with a proton pump inhibitor aka PPI.

Symptoms or am I really dying this time?
He said I may have "ulcerative
colitis
" but it wasn't definite. After the colonoscopy my symptoms vanished for a little while but returned when I kept getting anal pains.

Primary sclerosing cholangitis
My specialist states I will soon get
colitis
and then I can be put on a trial drug. My gut is telling me that my lupus is attacking my bile ducts and maybe I should be on a lupus drug not waiting for a bowel drug? Anyone else have PSC?

estrogen
This information is posted on Dr. Hertoghe's website: [i]There is some hesitancy among physicians to give estrone, because a few reports have suggested that estrone could be carcinogenic. Estriol, on the contrary, has better press .Many voices say estrogen should be added to every female hormone treatment

Confused.. Sorry that this is so long and may seem like it's about stomach problems but please keep reading I need your opinions.
I have recently been diagnosed with proctitis (a form of
colitis
). I'd said in the past 24 months my stomach problems have been a lot worse.

More tests
One reassuring thing was he said for something like Crohn's disease or
Colitis
the reading would of been in the 300-400 mark. Anyone know what this number is that they are looking for?

Feedback welcome
Even though I was informed I had IBS over 4 years ago I have never had a colonoscopy but my wife who has ulcerative
colitis
, her consultant said I should have one just to check what type I have. Is it normal to have a colonoscopy to determine if it is IBS ?

lymphomic colitis
I am at my wits end with this, first I was diagnosed with ibs, later
colitis
, I have been on many different meds, I have been on budesonide for 5 months and it was helping with occasional flare ups. I have reduced my gluten , dairy , I do not eat seeds, nuts, fruit and certain vegetables.
