Medications for Migraine
Thanks to all who responded to my question yesterday about post-ablation migraines with aura. I forgot to ask: Did/does anyone take one of the available migraine medications such as Sumatriptan (also known as Imitrex), Rizatriptan (Maxalt), etc. at the onset or during your migraines? The 'right' kind of Magnesium supplement?
For the past couple of years I've been taking Magnesium L Threonate, for night cramps and it's worked extremely well but a couple of weeks ago, I had to switch to Magnesium Oxide as I couldn't get my usual. In any case, since I switched, my tummy has not been right (diarrhoea). Could the Magnesium Oxide

5+4 no fetal pole
Hello! So after a stressful weekend of hcg tests, I had a scan at the epu this afternoon. I’m 5+4. They saw the gestational sac and yolk sac measuring 5 and half weeks. No embryo or fetal pole was seen but the sonographer said that’s normal, wouldn’t expect to see it. I’m beyond stressed over the whole

What main tests to check at 6 or 7 week
Hi ladies I will be getting my bloods back Tuesday to see if pregnancy hcg is going up. If they do GP said they will book a scan at 6 or 7 weeks. If I do get this far what main tests do I have to get done for any problems with the child? To make sure can check for any abnormalities?

HCG not doubling
Hello! So sorry to write again but desperately looking for some positive stories/hope or honest advice. I put a post up the other day about a concerning hcg and I’ve managed to have another one done today at the early pregnancy unit. I’m beside myself with anxiety and can see this is already over. The

Lithium Orotate for Depression and more?
Lithium Orotate for Depression and more? So I was watching this video on lithium orotate (still looking to get past my depression) and was amazed at the way he says lithium works in the brain. Lithium clears glutamate? Anybody up for lowering inflammation? Boosting neuroplasticity? And then he starts

ULTRA-V trial discontinuing
My second post in a day. I wanted to share how my doctor approached TG Therapeutics pulling the trial as well as not seeking umbralisib FDA approval. I was in phase two and finished venetoclax and ublituximab a year ago. Because I didn't quite reach MRD negative (blood did; bone marrow did not), we

Bleeding at 6 weeks
Hello Super stressed right now. Finally got a positive after FET. Hcg reading 14dp5dt was 2140. Have been spotting last hour with lower tummy ache. Nurses getting me in tmrw for a scan but has anyone had this? After my previous experience I’m just seeing miscarriage ahead. Thanks for any help or advice

EVOLVE trial for high risk chronic lymphocytic leukemia - CLL patients will test an early treatment intervention Vs watch and wait

Low beta HCG - Ectopic / chemical? Any hope?
Hi everyone, So we got our first ever BFP on Wednesday 6th July and also did a blood test the same day. We got the results from the bloods this morning and the beta hcg level is 15.8 and it says this is a “negative” pregnancy test. What I don’t understand is why the pee stick today is the strongest

Migraines and Besremi?
Hi Community, I started Besremi on January 28. In a previous post, I detailed an encouraging CBC after only six weeks. I have had no side effects until....migraines. I have had migraines my whole life, so this isn't new for me, but I had a six-day streak of unrelenting migraines. That is highly unusual

Anyone had a similar experience - is this ectopic?
Hey, just after some similar stories. Going out of my mind. I found out I was pregnant a few weeks back after a FET. I would have been 6 weeks today. At around 5 weeks I started having severe cramps and back pain for 2 days followed by a few days bleeding with a couple of clots passed. Of course I

Visceral Hypersensitivity
Hi everyone, I have recently found something to help abdominal pain/ discomfort which I wanted to share with anyone who has not tried this. It is Tiger Balm, I tried it out of desperation really, as I used to use it a long time ago for headaches, but it started to irritate my skin, so I stopped using

MS hug after contrast dye?
I've had more MRI's than I can count, both with and without, but today's didn't go too well. It was later in the day than usual, so I didn't get my standard afternoon nap. After the MRI was finished, I had a lot of trouble just sitting up on the bed. It was like my body was frozen in place. In a short

After a good day…
Any time I have a good day, I push myself a bit… if I have two good days in a row, I start thinking “did I just have a cold before? Did I exaggerate? Was it all in my head?” Then I crash - exhaustion, migraine, pain all over… even though it was just 2 days that were (relatively) good, I always convince
