Post TBI immersive activity ideas- music/ craft?
Hi, I had a TBI a year ago when I was hit by a cyclist and am still off work with migraines and some cognitive issues. When I saw an occupational health doctor last week one useful comment he made was that “immersive activities” can help with recovery from the sort of emotional trauma that I have experienced

Worthwhile: an article, a presentation, and a table
The article focuses on NOTCH1 (and also -2 and -4 as these are involved in CLL) both mutated and activated forms as applicable. I refer to these collectively as NOTCH. The article includes among other things how NOTCH can point to limited effectiveness of ibrutinib (once you start treatment), on how

Chemical pregnancy :(
Just wanted somewhere to spill my emotions really, with those that may understand. This was our first ivf round and I started off so positive which was unlike me as I am an over thinker (also not googling) and taking it all as it came. I’m scared of needles so I did so well, everything was going ‘perfectly

5 months today
Hi All I can't believe I've reached 5 months smoke free today and I don't really think about smoking anymore. For those struggling I know how hard it is but you have to want to stop, for me my last chest infection was the last straw. I knew I had to stop and I am still trying to regain some lung capacity

Am I definitely going to miscarry?
I had mine checked Monday for the first time and it was 1473. I was told to come back Friday and that they should have more than doubled by then. Friday my results were only 2115. So, it didn’t double. Everywhere I’ve looked suggest I could have an ectopic/blighted ovum. I’m 5 weeks and 4 days. I will

Is this a good sign?
Hi I got my HCG blood test done 11 days after transfer and it was 354 on the Monday. I got them repeated again on the Thursday and the beta was 1402. Is this ok? Thanks xx

CLL with “normal” FISH
Hello so while I am diagnosed with CLL, my FISH was normal meaning any abnormalities were not present in amounts sufficient to be detected. And while my diagnosis is recent, I have probably had CLL for five years without knowing it because my lymphocyte count has been high enough all along. It’s only

post-vaccination antibody test
Hi have a question for people with CLL who have already had an RNA vaccine (Pfizer and Moderna) or other. have you done a serological test for antibodies in the laboratory? After what time did you do such a test? what was your result of this test? Greetings from Poland Thank you for your response

Does cyclogest keep AF away?
I am 5+3 today, with a BFP last week. My clinic unfortunately does not do HCG testing, so have to wait another week or so for first scan. I don’t really have any pregnancy symptoms, I am still taking cyclogest, but for some reason I feel different today (started yesterday). No AF or spotting, but somehow

Chiari problem?
Hi everyone, I have MS, Endo stage 4,Fibro,
chronic
migraine
and Chiari Malformation, I believe all the majority of my issues are Chiari related. I am getting worse. Does anyone know of any specialist in Dublin apart from CB? I would be really grateful.

CAR-NK and me
I came to MD Anderson to take part in the CAR-NK trial. I am a good candidate: in July my marrow involvement was 5%. Natural Killer cells don’t return to the marrow so CAR-NK doesn’t do much in the marrow. The lymphodepleting chemo given before the CAR-NK infusion might, however, clear the marrow a bit

Any chance ?
Had my beta 10dp5dt and came back possitive with Hcg at 49 went back today dropped to 44. Nurse says keep going on meds and come back in 2 days. Of course now I’m feeling all the af symptoms, so not sure if I should be hopeful or consider it done Anyone else continue on with a pregnancy after a Hcg

Is an HCG level of 45 too low?
Hi ladies, I had my first HCG blood test today, 9dp a 5dt. The reading was only 45, which seems a little low. I have to go back tomorrow to test again and check it’s gone up, but I could do with some positive stories about low HCG numbers in the meantime please! Thank you x

Fresh IVF and Ectopic Pregnancy....do i have any chance of success with next FET?
So im currently going through a bit of a rollercoaster of emotions at the moment. Got my first BFP after years of trying to concieve naturally and after my first round of fresh transfer IVF. I had a day three transfer of two embryos and was really worried about whether either of them would make it. Turns
